Caesars Palace

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

This Las Vegas legend hasn’t outlasted many of its neighbours by accident. Look beyond its decadent glory-of-Rome exterior and you’ll find supremely well-appointed, contemporary rooms and suites without a whiff of white marble overkill. There are few Vegas resorts that can hold a Roman candle to Caesar’s casino and gaming options, while foodies could happily spend days ticking off the relaxed and upscale eateries on offer. Likewise, if retail therapy is on your mind, the resort’s Forum Shops is an opulent mall that’s been dubbed ‘The Shopping Wonder of the World’. And did we mention that Caesar’s Palace continues to host the grandest of grand Vegas performers such as Adele at its 4,000 plus seater Colosseum stadium?

This was my 4th trip to Las Vegas and I was super excited to be staying at Caesars Palace. The check-in staff were not exactly friendly or welcoming and then our room was a disaster! So disappointed to enter and straightaway see 2 damaged headboards, there was blood on the pillow case and hair in the bed. Disgusting! Caesar's claims to be a 5 star hotel! Absolutely not! We complained to the front desk and straightaway they offered to move us. This room seemed cleaner but sink was blocked and shower door didn't open properly. We complained about this and they offered to move us again but by this time we couldn't be bothered and just wanted these things fixed. With the 2 separate room complaints the hotel gave us $200 credit on the room to use in the restaurant, so that was something. This hotel absolutely coins in the money so no excuse for not replacing damaged headboards and stained bedding. I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend. Pool area and general hotel area are lovely and it's on a good location on the Strip. Pool was closed for 2 of the 5 days! On check-out, again the staff are not pleasant and have a general vibe of "what do you want" Plenty other better choices of hotels to stay at on the Strip. Caesar's really needs to update it's game! I encountered an extremely pleasant and compassionate woman by the name of Tangela. The calm to the storm would be the only way to explain how amazing she was. Setting me up in a suite and answering every concern that I had. That definitely set the tone for my stay. After a good rest we enjoyed an amazing dinner at Hell’s Kitchen and relaxing day the pool. The service and amenities are impeccable. Beyond pleased with my entire experience! Read less

Caesars Rewards is terrible don’t get full credit and Rewards customer service is the worse. Very time consuming and they are not friendly also Non responsive and they don’t care unless you are seven star. That status is the highest of the high and unless you are that don’t bother with this reward program
