The Edgewater

The hotel

Sitting right on top of Pier 67, this is Seattle's original waterfront hotel and quite the local landmark. It’s always been a quirky and cool spot, since it was built in 1962 — KISS parked their platform boots here and The Beatles once famously fished out of their hotel room window. We don’t recommend that, of course, but you can imagine the playful and chilled vibe that you get at the the Edgewater. Expect quirky, cosy rooms with beautiful views of Elliott Bay, happy hours showcasing amazing house concoctions, and a restaurant serving the freshest organic and local dishes. Take in a bit of live music at the weekend and dine outdoors to make the most of those water views.

Hotel location is great. Fun vibe and staff were lovely. Rooms are tight and noise transfers but overall a decent stay

Our stay at the Edgewater was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. This was in part due to the stunning location, great amenities, and beautiful rooms; but mostly it was the amazing staff. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and accommodating, and they all went the extra mile to make our stay special. Justine, the world's best front desk manager, was SO friendly when we arrived: we bonded over a shared love of Taylor Swift, and she upgraded our room and sent up a bottle of champagne (real champagne, for some reason. Who gives out real champagne instead of just sparkling wine? This hotel does). She also sent up an envelope of free cocktail vouchers and a note to hit up Gracie at the bar, who was equally friendly and accommodating. Top tip: don't make Justine cry, don't be a jerk to her, and she'll take care of you! The bar and restaurant are fabulous: the view can't be beat, and the food and especially the cocktails are fantastic. The first night of our stay, they pulled some strings to get my party of five (including my three year old niece) into the restaurant despite it being full that night. Our room was gorgeous - stunning ocean view, super comfy bed, cozy fireplace. In short, we're sad to leave - and we'll definitely be back! Read less

Great place to stay. We had a very nice view of the Space Needle. Room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. 15 minute or so walking to Pike Place Market, and easy access Lumen Field via the Light Rail (15 minute walk). Stay was wonderful. We will stay here again when in Seattle.

The staff was so attentive and definitely customer service oriented!! They took care of our every need and had a solution for everything. The bikes outside the hotel didn't work and I let them know that so they comp'd the daily rate. I really wanted to ride the bike in Seattle but I went for a run instead along Sculpture Park, Myrtle Beach Park & Centennial Park. I LOVE SEATTLE!! And we will be staying at the Edgewater again!! SO WORTH IT!! Read less

Everyone at the property went out of their way to make our stay great. The view from the balcony was fantastic and the weather so nice I used the Adirondack chair reading my book and sipping a glass of wine.
