We had two game drives each day and saw lots of game on each drive. Dean went out of his way to make sure that we saw all of the game that we had on our wish lists. absolutely beautiful. loved it. the game drives are spectacular. even if you don't get to see the big 5 immediately, the actual experience of driving around in such beauty makes it worth it. the experience of being in your private lodge, still with outstanding views is heaven.

We visited Pumba Game reserve for 4 Nights. As a family of 4 including 2 teenagers of 16 and 13, we had two separate Lodges ( Rooms 1 and 2 at the Water Lodge location on the Reserve. There is a further one called Bush Lodge. As a whole experience Pumba can only be described as truly amazing! Everything far exceeded the high expectations we all had. From the Standard of the Lodges which hopefully you can see from the included photos, from the amazing Food and excellent customer service from all the staff. They were all very attentive and helpful. Absolutely faultless. Water Lodge at Pumba is set in a stunning location with breathtaking views across the lake. Naturally the whole point of busting a game reserve is to view the animals in their Natural Habitat. We were lucky enough to be able to go on 8 game drives in total either in the morning or evening during our stay. The Jeeps are Large and comfortable despite the terrain being slightly bumpy at times! We were so lucky to have Gladman as our Ranger and he was absolutely superb.... he looked after so well and was so knowledgable about the animals. A true star! As for the Animals..... there are probably no words that can do justice to them! Just amazing! White Lions, Elephant Families, Rhinos, Cheetahs , Hippo’s, Giraffe and Zebra ‘s to name only a few! Nearly forgot the Warthogs!! Please go and see for yourself.... we can not recommend Pumba highly enough! Read less
