Tu the server was extra careful and remembered the tea order even after 1st meeting Breakfast variteybwaa good Italian place is the other open in the evening only had one meal there the pizza was very nice . Firstly, I would like to begin my story like this. I arrived and landed in Krabi and began my journey to get checked in into the resort. Then I got bad news that the resort was over booked and my room I booked through Agoda which was an Ocean View Pool Villa was not available and the hotel staff tried contacting Agoda and Agoda did not inform me. However, the GM, Miss Jann came out to meet me and informed me that they were only able to provide me with a Sea View room for the 1st night and subsequent nights move me to the Ocean View Pool Villa as what I have booked. Then after, the GM Miss Jann was nice to credit back to me my additional room charges which I paid extra. Then on the next day, I was moved to Ocean View Pool Villa as promised, then when I checked in and later found the pipes at the shower area was clogged. Maintenance were required. The GM, Miss Jann was again fast to act on the matter and provided me an additional Villa next door to use the toilets for the night and the next day, they moved me and upgraded me to their heavenly suite villa which was awesome and truly heavenly. This I must say it’s hospitality at its best and the GM, Miss Jann and staffs went above and beyond to ensure our stay was most comfortable and nice! Thanks to Miss Jann, the GM of the resort for the great service and also the complimentary cake which was divine. Truly an amazing Thai hospitality at it’s best! Will definitely return again for a visit. Read less

The spa is amazing and you actually get the full time you pay for and more . Don’t do Hong Island trip, the water is filthy and packed with tourists and the staff on the island are very unwelcoming. One thing to be made aware of is the sea at the resort is full of jelly fish so just swim in the pool. On a positive the sunsets are amazing Highly recommend if you like good food and lovely attentive staff Read less

Fabulous Hotel What a wonderful place. I would give this hotel a mark of 20 out of 10. It really was that good! We found this hotel after checking out the hotels in Krabi and this one had the best reviews. The booking process was very straight forward, and we booked the accommodation for July 2019. There was an option of booking transport from the hotel which we too. On arrival it was difficult to see the hotel, as it was nestling in a lot of trees. We were met as usual in Thailand with a warm reception and a welcoming drink. After checking in we were taken on a tour around the hotel. It's very difficult to describe this hotel. It is built in lots of individual units nestling amongst the beautiful trees. Our room was like a chalet facing the beach which was 50 yards away. The chalet was large with an outdoor bathroom and a small private swimming pool which was our very own. The large double bed faced the patio doors with a view of the beach. There was everything provided including a nice beach bag to take your towels etc. The TV had basic channels, but they had a DVD player and films were available for free at the reception. 50 yards to the beach, there was golden soft sand. Beanbags were used as loungers which were very comfortable. There were also few hammocks. The ocean was beautiful, calm and very warm. It was like getting into the bath water. It was so shallow that you had to go more than 100 yards just to be waist deep. There were hardly any stones on the ocean floor. When in the ocean, you can could really see that hotel or the surrounding buildings as are all built in the trees. See you felt you were on an isolated beach. There were no hawkers selling trinkets. The ocean was very safe!!! The hotel had a wonderful swimming pool and it too was a good warm temperature. There were very few people around so was not crowded. We were told by staff that there were 59 rooms in total. We did not have to rush to book pour loungers on the beach or pool at any time. There were two restaurants, one serving truck Thai food, and the other Italian. The food was very nice very reasonably priced and very tasty. All the tables looked out onto the beach and there were beautiful sunsets every evening to behold. There was a large pool with hundreds of coy fish all swimming to you to be fed (There was a feeding tray available). Entertainment was on three nights of the week, with gentle music in the background with live performers singing hit songs. There was small library for books and computers for internet access. Although free fast wi-fi was available in your room and all over the sprawling hotel. Best of all were the staff over the whole hotel who very helpful, always smiling and got to know us over the week that we were there. They were accommodating and surprised us on our last night by setting up special table on the beach, with lantern and flowers for us to have dinner. This is not for any special occasion but just as a surprise for our last evening. This is one of the best holidays we've ever had. The hotel was beyond our expectation in every way. Read less

My partner and I decided to escape Sydney’s cold weather for 11 nights. Booked the TubKaak for 4 nights before heading to Phi Phi then off to Rayavadee on Railay Beach. TubKaak is a quality resort, has everything you require including a functional fitness centre. I love the ocean but didn’t swim at the beach, just didn’t find it that inviting. There’s a couple of restaurants along the beach but to be honest, the dishes are not much cheaper than the resort restaurants (there is nothing around so they charge similar to resorts) and the quality of food is no where near as good. You are better off heading into Ao nang if you want something different which is approximately 20-30 minutes from Tub Kaek. Take the resort car 600 Baht each way x2 people. It’s comfortable with reclining chairs and bottled water. A taxi is minimum 500 Baht... Resorts car is much nicer. Not sure why some reviews rave on about being over priced. As a whole, it’s definitely value for money. We are not drinkers so resort meals were approximately $80-$100 for a 3 course dinner. Staff are gorgeous Cons: Beach is average for swimming. Fine for tanning & walks. TV reception was SO bad & DVD selection TERRIBLE. Other than that, I have nothing bad to report on. Read less
