This hotel is one of our favourites to stay in. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is lovely and the restaurant is fantastic. We generally have a room facing the ocean so there’s always great scenery to see . The location is great, right downtown. And if you decide to go for the suite, it is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Splurged on the room after a few days of tenting and driving. have to say that the drive in, on highway 16, is incredibly beautiful. The suite is beautiful! Two rooms, one with a large comfortable king bed, tv, jacuzzi, shower and ‘throne room’. The other main room has a hide-a-bed couch, tv, electric fireplace, wet bar with a couple waters bottles and nice coffee, chairs, a desk. Our daughter said the hide-a-bed was comfy, but she is really easy to please. It’s probably not amazing 😉 Good for a kid, two if they are small. The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. There is a fan in the closet. The jacuzzi bath was awesome! You can watch tv from the bath if you wish. Shower is great, nice big shower head, good water pressure and hot water. Room was really warm when we got there. The sun was coming in hot in the windows. Took awhile for the two air conditioners to catch up, but they did and it was comfortable. The view is SPECTACULAR! The room comes with binoculars, which you can buy for $99 if you choose. I loved this room! Great experience overall 👍🏻 Read less

We had a wonderful time for an anniversary vacation. The restaurant has fabulous fish and seafood dishes, and also a nice selection for vegan meals. More below on the restaurant. If you can get a room on the fourth floor, they are the suites. Large spacious and full of accommodation. Also, make sure that you go and visit the gym. As it was built directly on the rock. Very impressive. At the restaurant, try to get the window corner table and if you are lucky, your meal will be with the company of a bald eagle (see picture). Bring your binoculars for dinner for bird watching and also to watch the multiple boats that passes near the hotel. For beer, get the local Wheelhouse. All the dishes we tried were excellent.
