We stayed at the Cove Atlantis with my husband and two little boys (7 and 4). the hotel is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. we felt that it was within walking distance to everything (but we also don't mind walking). My kids had a blast using all the facilities. In my opinion the rest of the resort is very run down and needs to be upgraded big time - but my kids being kids didn't notice and had a great time. While I really like the Cove resort - I was not impressed with the staff and all the hidden fees. My son has a dairy allergy so we purchased coconut milk for him from the grocery store and requested a mini fridge. After bringing us a non working fridge we got another one and then at the end they wanted to charge us $100 USD plus tax AND TIP. I got so upset that i made them take out the charges - they never even told me about this cost until check out. The other thing I did not like was that the staff did not really do much and were not really friendly. Tip is included in EVERYTHING - so I felt like they didn't really work for anything. Over all my kids had a great time but next time we will go elsewhere - it just wasn't worth the price we paid for the service and cleanliness of the facilities. Read less

This hotel is amazing in every way. First class staff, accommodations, amenities. My daughter and I stayed five nights in the Cove. The oceanfront suite was spacious and clean and beautifully decorated. Housekeeping was as much or as little as you wish. Housekeeping staff were readily available if you need something, but otherwise responsive, came and went when we were out. The balcony in our suite was not big enough for chairs, so ask if you wish a larger balcony, as many of the balconies do have chairs. The view from the eighth floor was spectacular. There were many nice eateries-we especially enjoyed the Bahamian Club -the filet was super tender and the service friendly and excellent - we ordered from the Pris Fixe menu and it was the best value of the week. The adults-only pool at the Cove was our favorite leisure area, including the music, chairs, umbrellas, towels all complimentary. Food and drink delivered poolside. And the service staff there were so attentive and proactive to help in any way. There were massages available poolside. The landscaping was lush and tropical with many water features. A truly serene and relaxing getaway. We had stayed once before in another tower (Beach Tower) that I would not recommend.. the Cove was polar opposite and felt like heaven. Read less

This hotel gave me ulcers with how horrible the customer service was. We booked several months in advance and kept getting emails from Hotels.com about how Dorian has affected the hotel and the hotel could not accommodate us. After the second time RE-BOOKING to re-instate our room and after the second email, we decided that maybe it wasn't a good idea to travel to Nassau based on the emails and the news. Hotels.com told us they would refund us and never did. They told us the hotel marked us as a no show rather than cancelling us out and they had to get approval from the hotel. Fast forward 32 days and 25+ documented calls, after submitting DOCTORS NOTES to quality assurance portion of Atlantis, they FINALLY agreed to refund me. Worst experience I have ever had with a hotel in my entire life, not to mention I am pregnant so god only knows what this stupid stress has done to the baby psychologically. I really hope that the people that I had talked to within Atlantis Quality Assurance are happy with themselves to be so rude and cause so much stress. I really have no desire to ever step foot on Atlantis now based on my experience. Read less

Had an absolutely terrible experience with the gym management while going into the gym at the cove.
