Going to Atlantis for more than 14 years, owners of Harborside, it is a know fact that The Cove, Sip Sip restaurant has the Best lunch on the island along with best bartenders. We had a problem with the strict security rules The Cove keeps for it's members. Ms Tina turned all that around for us by accommodating us to the ULTIMATE MAXIMUM. I will never forget how wonderful she attended to all our needs. I highly recommend going and staying at The Cove, service is spectacle. Especiallly her. Read less

Completed a 5th consecutive year in a row couples trip to The Cove. The things I love about The Cove are the room set up. The rooms are so large and spacious and functional. I like that every room has a large balcony with a view. Housekeeping is great and timely and it’s actually one of the most consistent well done turn downs of any property I have stayed at. The cabanas by The Cain pool are a great set up with the bathroom right there with ocean views. I say this every year but things that could be improved is the food at The Cain pool. The menu is subpar and so is the food. Also, the drinks selection is weak! I would like to see more speciality drinks with fresh ingredients! That is the one thing about the Baha Mar that I loved and wish Atlantis took more time to invest in. Also Atlantis could use more “quick service” healthy meal options. Travelers want to have options to eat healthy and the resort is lacking that overall. Altogether I wouldn’t come back for the 5th year in a row if I was totally dissatisfied. I think once Baha Mar opens the water park it’s going to be hard to compete without making some significant changes and property improvements. Read less

Our family of 5 just got back from an amazing vacation at the Cove. We were very happy from start to finish! Here's a brief summary: Room: * Stunning! We were on the 22nd floor and the views were some of the nicest we've ever had * Room was a 10/10. High ceilings, luxurious finishes, spotless * Housekeeping was meticulous and amazing. Consistent turndown service. Well deserving of a big tip! * Always ample bottles of water * Had to ask for robes and the complimentary Cove beach bag and flip flops but they were quick to provide Club Level * Definitely worth it. We were across the hall from the club and used it throughout the day. * Lovely selection all day of high quality snacks and bites. * top notch coffee maker, hot chocolate, tea, cold water, complimentary drinks during happy hour * we didn't use the concierges other than for check out but they were always friendly and available * food was a bit repetitive by the end of the week. I wouldn't have wanted to do it for 2 weeks Waterpark * busy and full of cruise ship guests but a lot of fun for all ages. * lots of walking if you like to be active but ample shuttles available for those who didn't want to walk * about a 5 minute walk from the Cove. I expected it to be longer. Cove pool and beach * fairly quiet, very clean, lovely break from the park Food * food was decent. Waterpark was typical waterpark food. Nothing special. Restaurants were ok. Nothing mind blowing but definitely enough to keep you satisfied * Room service was just average Cost * Yes it is pricey for food and items and yes they add tax and tip on everything. If this bothers you, best to book offsite and do a day trip to the park. Staff: * Lots of lifeguards on duty, people available to ask for directions. * Service was fantastic in our hotel. We would definitely return to the Cove. Beautiful hotel tucked slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the Royal. Book with confidence...request club level and a room on the 22nd floor! Read less

This is my second stay this year, my stay at New Years was so good I came back in March. The Cove is super clean. The room was neat and orderly. The bed very comfortable. Check in was easy. I did have an issue being put on a very low floor which was upsetting as the view is a big part of choosing the Cove. Once settled in an down to the pool. I noticed they added sand on the beaches. There was many improvements and repairs that were long over due. There is now water dispensers every where which was a common complaint in years gone by. They now allow children in the reef. That is good and bad depending if you have kids. I do wish the upper and lower reef pool was kept 13 plus. Now back to the good parts. The workers are super friendly. I did not meet one worker who was not nice. Many remembered me. Everyone was help full. There is lots of food choices. The cove pool is 18 plus and has music. It is shadier than all other pools. One note is to make a reservation for a seat or tip the hostess to get a good seat. The Ruins pool to the North East is a heated pool and has more room. The reef pool between the beach and hotel is a nice setting, but lots of young kids which again could be good or bad depending on your situation.. Now if you have bot been to Atlantis before, you need to note that this is an island, things cost more. The over all cost of my stay plus food and drinks was less than an all inclusive. The Cove is a bit of a walk from the center of Atlantis, but there are free shuttles every half hour, sometimes quicker when it is busy. Check out was a breeze. My requested ride to the airport was there and easy to depart. You may see stars, singers and athletes. Some will be nice, some will hide and some not so nice. All and all the Cove is an exciting place to stay. It costs more and worth it to those seeking more. The Royal is being redone in case you like the Royal Read less
