This hotel is great! The entrance is very beautiful and all the staff were so helpful, always on hand to answer any question and offer advice. The door staff and concierge were great. Check is was quite timely and wasn't the best start, could definitely use some improvement to make this process quicker! The downstairs bar man in the second part of the hotel was AMAZING! We had some really lovely conversations with him, he made lovely cocktails and also recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The hotel is also situated in a great place, walking distance from Obispo street and lots of restaurants and there were always guys in classic cars parked outside giving tours. We had a great stay here whilst in Havana, would definitely recommend! Read less

I'm doing several reviews from my recent holiday in Cuba. They will be done in terms of what you see and what you get in Cuba. It's hard to relate many things we take for granted in other parts of the world. This is a good hotel. It does however have it's faults, which I won't go through in detail. You're in Cuba. In our tour party we regularly used the phrase "it is what it is". The hotel is busy and popular. The lifts are slow. The food is ok (as tourists we eat like kings, so be grateful). You can only exchange money once you are here. Your hotel is the best way to get your CUC's, but be warned, the queues can be long and slow. The rooms are large and well appointed (but not to UK standards). You have to buy an internet card (1 CUC/hr) and you can only use it in this hotel and in the lobby and not your rooms. I believe this is pretty standard throughout Cuba. If you are a phone junkie and need internet 24/7 then it's quite simple. Don't go to Cuba! The hotel is in a great location for seeing Havana. The old American cars will come to the front door to take you on a tour. A definite "must-do" in Havana. Read less

Tranquillity in the heart of a hectic city. Amazing location, superb staff and the roof top pool is absolutely sensational. This is worth every penny just for the roof top pool. A few hours chill in the sun by the pool after a long day beating the street of Havana is a real treat.

They were willing to hep with anything. The Continental breakfast had lots of choices and gave a good base to the day. The location is great, it is a short walk to the Capitol building and the Malecon. If you feel a little tired you can take a tricycle ride which goes slow enough for you to be able to see the sights as you go along. The pool is to die for and allows a quiet serene spot to take in some rays and relax after a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this hotel in Havana as the architecture takes you back to the 50's but it has been renovated so the services are all up to date. Loved this one Read less
