Service was terrible, bad communication at the front door made us stand in line 1 hour to hear that we could not exchange money at the hotel. No apologies were made... If this is their standard I would rather stay in a good casa particulares.

We've stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room was clean, but the furniture is quite old including the bathroom. On first day there was no cold water, only very hot so I couldn't take a shower... housekeeping girl wasn't pleasant to my friend when he asked her for a bottle of water for the room. The whole lobby smells of cigarettes and I can't believe such a ***** hotel has smoking policy. I've never been at the hotel when you coming straight to the smoking area. Disgusting...breakfast was so average and no fresh juice.... quite disappointing when you pay €400 per night you would expect little bit more effort. Now a good side. Hotel has lovely pools and bars on new and on an old side of the hotel. The staff is ok-ish but customer service in Cuba seems being bit behind...not all the waitress are welcoming and friendly which is a shame as they definitely work for tips $$$ and is not difficult to smile. On a top of the roof there is one lovely waitress and she definitely makes people's day. Very happy and a very friendly girl. There is a currency exchange and every day someone plays piano or other instruments which is very nice. Hotel has a nice view especially at night. Quite expensive for a little bottle of water 0.33l you pay about €3 and €3.5 for a coffee as the one with breakfast tastes diluted and you cant really drink. All over the hotel is very expensive as you pay like over €1200 for 3 nights and all you can be offered is the music in a stinky lobby and a view.... would not come back sorry... Read less

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Super hotel in excellent position in Old Havana.

We stayed here 5 nights. Lovely hotel with great staff, nothing too much trouble. An amazing selection of food for breakfast. We had a super room, lots of space, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. We ate once in the Lobby Bar which was ok but pretty noisy. Very good position for visiting the sights of Havana, also near to lots of restaurants.
