We spent two nights here at the end of a two week tour of Cuba. This is a modern hotel with cash changing facilities, a bar, two restaurants and a snack bar and an outdoor pool and sun area. The rooms are clean and the hotel was staffed. Our meals were taken in the self service restaurant which does a great breakfast and a good dinner too with lots of choice. Beer is available as is wine but the staff are not always sure of the wine they have for sale and are inexperienced in opening bottles. We had a Chilean wine on each night for 18CUC + 10% i.e. about £18 and very good it was too. The hotel is some way from Old Havana althought the hop on hop off bus does go close from the Panorama Hotel and a day ticket for that is 10CUC. Taxi is 25CUC - old USA car good fun if it is not raining. Good WiFi is available for 2 CUC for an hour. Read less

Nightly entertainment, which is good but not too loud or long. A few minor aspects show it is not a totally Western hotel, but this is Cuba! Staff are lovely and willing to help. My elderly father is now staying there on his own, after I spent a week with him and I am sure he will be looked after. Thank you!

We were actually moved to this hotel from the Starfish as part of a promotion offered to us by a customer service representative, Sr. Ronny Santiosteban Morales. As part of our stay at the Starfish we had breakfast at Memories. Ronny approached us there about the offer, convinced us to give it a try, arranged everything and even helped us move our luggage. In the end we were glad he did. We ended up spending five of our seven nights in Havana here. This is definitely a step up from the Starfish. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast was good, with lots of choices. As always in Havana, there were some things not available but nothing critical. We enjoyed the pool and think it is one of the nicer pools in the area. We travel to Havana every year, at least once, and have stayed at many hotels. We were quite happy with the stay at the Memories Miramar and have already discussed returning in 2019. Read less
