The hotel

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall epitomises a luxury experience, this adults only hotel will allow you to relax without having to lift a finger. Enjoy spa treatments in the comfort of your suite or get the full Caribbean experience and enjoy them on the beach. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and visit the four bars the hotel has on offer, including a swim up bar, so you don’t even need to leave the pool. But, if you did want to venture out, you could go golfing at luxury golf course Cinnamon Hill or get up close and personal with the local sea life by visiting the hotel’s diving centre.

Swim Out Suites have direct access to a semi-private pool, and also includes features such as in-room check-in, pillow menu, and turndown service, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Oceanfront Suites are located on the beachfront, and also includes features such as in-room check-in, pillow menu, bathrobe and slippers, welcome amenities, and turndown service, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Presidential Suites are located on the beachfront with ocean views and a whirlpool on the terrace, as well as other additional services. Features a living room and kitchenette, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

7 restaurants and 5 bars: Cornwall Buffet (International cuisine, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), Es Palau Gourmet Restaurant (French cuisine, open for dinner), Teppanyaki Kiniro (Japanese cuisine, open for dinner), Surf and Turf Galleon (BBQ and seafood, open for dinner), La Toscana Wine Cellar (Italian cuisine, open for dinner), Port Maria Jamaican Restaurant (Jamaican cuisine, open for buffer breakfast, lunchtime snacks and a la carte dinner) and Beach Grill (Casual fare, open from 11.30am-6pm, Sunday to Friday). Great food and service the entire stay. The room was very comfortable. I’d stay here again. You have access to 2 resorts next door, but we were content to stay at the Grand. The wife enjoyed her Swedish massage.

We had previously stayed at the Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana, so we thought we would give the Grand Rose Hall a try as well. The facilities are fantastic and gorgeous, however, our experience was less than that of the Grand Bavaro. The food was great throughout the resort, no complaints on that. The grounds were kept up very well. Our biggest complaints were that of our room not being cleaned on a daily basis, our snack bar never being refilled and the just an overall feel that this resort was less than expected. We had booked a suite with a king bed in June of 2023, 6 months prior to our arrival. Upon our arrival we were informed that the king beds weren't available and we were being placed in a queen bed suite and they would try to move us the next day. Which automatically frustrated us, after a long day of travel, etc. We had to go check-in with the front desk the next morning regarding this. They informed us we were able to switch rooms, but weren't able to be next to our friends, as we were informed we could be. They were able to move our rooms around 4 p.m. that day, but we had to pack up all of our items and re-establish. Not exactly how you want to spend your first day. The staff for the most part was attentive. There were numerous occasions where we weren't greeted, weren't waited on and simply were overlooked. Our room wasn't cleaned on a regular basis and we had to physically call and go to the front desk in order to achieve that. Our snack bar and mini fridge were never refilled. Even after we left a note asking for them to be. While we still enjoyed ourselves, I can't say we will be back to this resort. We had high expectations, but after we read numerous reviews regarding others lack luster experiences we were left worried. Rightfully so, those experiences were that of what we had as well. Third time to the grand rose hall. Still amazing ! LOVE that it is adults only, wonderful beaches, amazing food and bars, and amazing staff. Each personally took ownership to make our vaca amazing. Special shout outs to Cedric, Alain, Andre, and Jodene, but all were wonderful. Will be back again.

Our drivers from top choice Jamaica tours made our airport arrivals and departures fun we even did the Dunn's river falls as our excursion it's a must see booked everything with them and you will see how much fun they are. Food options I loved jerk chicken, japanese and french the most . Nickehsia was fun I hope I spelt it right and yes she's an amazing chef look for her 😊. Give her tips thanks . Iberostar Grand Rose Hall was an absolutely amazing resort with a fantastic beach, good food, lively night-time entertainment, good drinks, and lots of energy at the pool. There were plenty of chairs at the beach and the pool every day. The difference between a good vacation and a great vacation is the staff at the resort. They made us feel welcome from the moment we received our welcome packet of information the week before our trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted like we owned the place. While the entire staff was very good, extremely friendly, and always helpful; I would like to give a special shout-out to 4 specific people. Sheneille found us every day to ensure we were having a great vacation. Our Ambassador, Cedric knew how to make things happen. He made sure every request we asked for was furnished, and he even provided things that he knew would make our vacation better without asking, and every time they did. Marsha-Lee was another diamond, answering all our questions, providing help, getting our massages scheduled each day, and making our vacation memorable. Let's not forget our Butler Valentine, who checked on us every day to make our stay fantastic. We enjoyed the restaurants and the buffet and didn't have a bad meal once. Don't miss the Jerk Chicken shack behind the pool, best Jerk pork and chicken I have ever eaten. We ate at the Japanese two nights, once at Habachi and the other sushi at the table. Fantastic. We had the buffet on Thanksgiving, there were so many choices, and the turkey was cooked to perfection. Moist. The nightly free entertainment was really good. We saw Michael Jackson, which one a scale of 1 to 10, was a 12. Outstanding. The other shows at night around the pool were also very good, Steel Drums, African Drums, and 4 mo-town singers. We went to see Dolce, which was great. Highly recommended for every couple. We did the magic show, there wasn't enough magic in my opinion. More singing and dancing than Magic, so a little disappointed in the magic, but the singing and dancing were great. THen we went to RockTails, where we had a blast making drinks and dancing. I would go back without hesitation, and in fact, we are coming back with a group of 10 in March we had such a great time. I will request those same people to make our March vacation as good as this one. Its the people that make the difference, and these 4 were the best of the best. Read less
