Staff are amazing and a credit to this hotel, a massive thank you to you all Gabby,Danielle.sylvia.all the pool bar staff to many names to mention staff at cafe del mar ,Italian,Asian restaurants and maids for keeping this hotel clean.A big thank you to lifeguard Nacho , Many Thanks . Management have no interest in any issue raised with them.We sat on the day beds on the beach for our first week and then second week told to move as we had the wrong colour wrist bands on when we complained we were told the beach had been cleaned and these beds were available to VIP wrist bands only. We looked on daily basis to see that less than 10% were being used. The arrival of between 80 to 200 students on a daily basis, the second week of our holiday was a massive let down. The whole of the pool area was taken over and the noise and behaviour was unbearable. When this was mentioned to the management team, it was acted on the next two days , by drafting in extra security, this was not the case thereafter. Sunbeds were being reserved by higher banded colour wristband holders, but were not being used. The second day of our holiday, the buffet style evening meal was removed, when we asked why, we were informed that there were not enough guests to offer this. This break was to celebrate 30 years of marriage and a 60th birthday, what a massive let down this holiday turned out to be!!!!!!!!! This hotel is advertised by TUI on their web site as being majors and chilled out getaways ... Read less

Bocelli's restaurant is my favorite on the grounds.. Chef Marco Antonio Velcizquez was so helpful in fixing special meals for the 5 of us, they were wonderful.. We ate there 5 of our 7 nights. Our hostess Marysol always greeted us with a wonderful smile every night. Our waiters Ricardo and Israel were amazing at attending to our every needs. Capitana Paola was always there to take of us. Felix was just as amazing. In Cafe del Mar , Israel, Edgar Ariadna Porfirio were there every morning with smiles and attended to our every needs as well. The hostess Yanelly and Manager Francis couldn't have been any nicer. All of these people are a credit to the staff at Playacar Palace. Read less

The staff at this hotel are so kind, thoughtful and caring. They way they just took care of an injury in the pool was wonderful. I was going to mention the afternoon ‘visitors’ we had during September but after the care and attention I witnessed today the extra visitors do not really matter in the slightest. We met some lovely people during our 2 week break and would love to stay again at Playacar Palace as I know that we will be looked after by all of the staff who really cannot do enough for their guests.
