Booked via recommendation. On approach this hotel is set in magnificent surroundings with friendly reception staff. Very close to the airport its positioned perfectly. The room was clean and spacious but I had to put the kettle on the floor to boil because of the very short cable that couldn't reach the socket. That's about it for the positives. Staff lack training, no consistency or continuity at all and generally the hotel standards are extremely low. Lack of information for customers, no breakfast, lunch or dinner times. The restaurant menu lacks diversity and there's no local dishes offered at all. Beach bar furniture has peeling paint that sticks to your arms when resting, umbrellas have huge holes and stains, along with some of the table cloths that had big holes. Decking requires maintenance as there's a few trip hazards. Menus have NO allergy information at all which is extremely disturbing in today's climate and the chef lacks any empathy for customers who have dietary requirements. The main restaurant at breakfast resembles an aviary which appears charming at first until you realise that bird droppings can be found near and around the food. I saw a customer use a serving utensil for the bacon and then for the chicken sausage. For people who don't eat pork there's a huge cross contamination issue here. Myself and my colleagues (all professionals) tried to politely raise some of the issues quietly one evening but these were totally ignored because we experienced exactly the same problems with the food from the previous evening. There was absolutely no information on the spa facilities which was surprising & one of the gift shops needed a good clean due to the build up of dust. From a business perspective these are all fixable but it's very apparent that staff training at all levels are very much needed. I'd visited from the UK with a view to recommending this location for weddings and honeymoons. Needless to say that I certainly will not be doing so. It's such a shame and my short stay was hugely disappointing. Read less

Customer service is of utmost importance to me and every member of staff we encountered during our stay was very friendly and welcoming. Having my 2 year old daughter with us can be a challenge at times but Coco Reef is perfect for families and it was never a struggle for us to move around at any point in time. Clean environment, friendly staff, clear waters and good food made it a wonderful day spent on the island. Will definitely return soon. Thank you. Read less

Yet another return visit from us for a couple of weeks in September. Very enjoyable stay. Staff, food and overall service was very good now we're on first name terms. Could do with a lick of paint in places but overall it is one of the best on the Island. See you next time.

I had the pleasure staying in a suite and it was everything I could have wanted. It was the most relaxing time spent here. The beach is private and water calm and tranquil. Bar service has greatly improved since my last visit. Everyone remained professional and staff were attentive. Big shout out to the General Manager Eric. Thank you for your excellent hospitality. I will be back soon for sure. Read less
