My only criticism with the food was the dessert menu which was the same each day. Having said that, we were advised that if we didn't want to wait 20 minutes or so between main course and dessert, then to order them at the same time. A good tip to know, particularly if you want Banana Tatin or the souffle! All the food was freshly cooked to order however, and was delightful. It's own private beach is not huge but plenty big enough for the number of guests in May. It is very calm and fish swim around your feet if you stand still long enough. Evening entertainment was good with singers and a steel band. Beautiful gardens, a small pool and wonderful views towards Pidgeon Point. All in all a wonderful holiday and would definitely return again. Read less

Walking around the hotel is like touring an art gallery. We saw regular rooms, suites and an amazing cottage on the property while we were there. All were incredible with lots of little design touches and attention to detail. I love florals, so the room decor was a plus for me! The cottage would be amazing for a special celebration. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant - I had pork ribs and garlic potato mash which were both delicious. Even on an overcast day the beach was amazing. I liked the protected cove for swimming and lots of families were enjoying the beautiful beach. Read less

The only down side was when the waitress burnt my leg with boiling coffee. These things happen. The room was a bit rustic and we didn't like the bed much, it moved around and not terrbly comfy. I would go back. We booked with British Airways. It didn't seem very busy the whole time. Cocktails ok. Read less

Bed was not a queen as advised, a regular...felt as if I would roll off the sides. The attitude of the staff....except front desk staff...in their Tamara restaurant..."We are doing YOU a favour ". It did not cater to the varied Caribbean taste! It was no wonder their occupancy was extremely low during my 2 nights stay. Read less
