Coco Reef Resort & Spa

Tobago, Caribbean

The hotel

This elegant hotel lies in its own beautiful well-tended gardens. The ambience created in the hotel attracts a high rate of repeat visitors and the level of service here is top notch — you'll be impressed by the little touches, like speedy check-in, nightly turn-down service and Champagne cocktails at the intimate Bobster's Champagne Bar. During the day, you can choose from a range of non-motorised water sports and treatments at the tranquil spa, or simply relax by the pool or in the gallery lounge with afternoon tea overlooking the ocean. The private white sand beach is one of the best on the island with a specially built lagoon to create a calm swimming area for kids. You will find superb cuisine in two restaurants for both buffet dining and à la carte dining.

We enjoyed to patio overlooking the sea off Pigeon Point and meeting all sorts of interesting people swimming in the nice calm lagoon along the beach there. Really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Great location convenient to shops and restaurants. They offer an excellent breakfast buffet, clean rooms and lovely view of the water and the grounds. Especially nice to have Undersea Tobago right there on the beach and we highly recommend them!

(We liked it so much after our first visit in 2009, we returned a few years later to get married there!). This time felt like a homecoming! A warm welcome and plenty of familiar faces amongst the staff, plus a few new ones. As usual working hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable time, all under the watchful eye of the irrepressible Manager, Eric! These staff, as well as the casual elegance, the lovely food, the lagoon, gardens and views at this hotel make it well worth the long trip from the UK. Will we be back...? Of course we will! Thank you Coco Reef! Read less
