Booked the Deluxe Ocean Front Room for the purpose of proximity/location to the ANR Airport to leave. I believe this is the only good thing from this stay- proximity to the airport. Mini fridge did not cool properly. Shower door did not close properly so when taking a shower, water was constantly leaking out onto the floor. General Facilities are not maintained so the hotel looks run down. Door to the balcony was not opening because the track was damaged; however, due to this, our room was changed for a working balcony door but all other issues remained the same. Customer service was okay. Read less

The facilities and staff were excellent, very attentive and supportive to us which made the experience even more enjoyable. Especially considering the covid restrictions, you are doing a formidable job. The courtesies you afforded us with early check in, late checkout and free use of the place was very helpful and very much appreciated. Thank you very very much once again and we are all looking forward to coming again soon. Many thanks, Dr. Sharma Read less

Magdalena has the infrastructure to be Grand but unfortunately at this time is not. As a person who has been to many hotels of different classes I was disappointed. The property is run down with cracking floors, holes in the ceiling revealing piping etc, missing infrastructure (most of the bannister on my porch was missing), the bathroom door on my room we had to fight with to close, in my sister in laws room the water ran like apple juice, my family and I spent nights sweating because the ac was not cold (and couldn’t be lowered in temperature) and I haven’t even spoken about the fact that we had to wait for roughly two and a half hours to get our room and being told that we could wait in our other families’ room 🙄 (we booked three rooms). I know hotels had to remain closed for a while due to covid but I personally feel like these are things that should’ve been fixed before reopening. These are all things that diminish the quality of a persons stay and run down ratings. I was honestly excited to be going to stay at Magdalena and was really really disappointed. Especially for the name they have and the price we paid. The best thing about Magdalena was two particular staff members whose names I sadly don’t remember. One was the bell man? Who greeted us on our arrival and throughout our stay and took us around the property and the other a waiter at the Robinson Crusoe Pub. All in all we were Highly disappointed. Read less
