As someone who considers myself an expert on TnT food, I was totally impressed with the presentation and dishes. There were the regular traditional dishes but the surprise hit was the roasted vegetables in tamarind sauce. It was so good I had to compliment chef Nakisha who was so gracious and even shared her recipe. Another highlight was the homemade fruit smoothie by Carla! I’ll certainly be back again hopefully for more than lunch! Read less

Stayed there 3 nights and the hotel, grounds, and view are beautiful but customer service is lacking. We arrived before normal check-in and asked if we could go ahead and check-in. If not we could go do something until check-in time. Was told it wouldn't be long as our room was in the final check. Two and a half hours later we got to check-in. Was told nothing but where our room was. Didn't know until the last day that breakfast and lunch were included except for our first day as we had not officially check-in. Was not told we had to put credits on the room in order to be able to charge something to the room. Was not told two of the restaurants required reservations. One only serves eight people at a time. Went there on last night after finding out we had to make reservations and my crab cakes appetizer consisted of one tiny crab cake - was told it was normally two but "rations" but they still charged full price. Menu was nothing like the one we were showed at front desk when we made reservations. One night they sent us to a closed restaurant on their grounds. If you eat in Robinson Crusoe Pub be prepared to wait a long time on your food. I waited an hour for a Ceasar Salad. I got 2nd degree burn from their magnifying mirror when housekeeping turned it on. All I got was an apology and some burn cream that they put on. I had to find my own bandaid and medicine the rest of the time. Shower door in our room didn't fully close so everytime we took a shower the bathroom floor got soaked. First day our room was cleaned they took our washcloths but didn't lean any clean ones. We had to call to have more brought down. One day we were leaving and discovered the only way out of the lot we were in was blocked as a tree was being cut down. We had to drive across the lawn to get out and over the caution tape that was blocking the other side. We got no notice that this would happen so that we could move our rental car to another spot. Another night steel drums entertainment was advertised from 5:30pm-8pm. Entertainment did not start until 6:30pm and he packed up at 8pm. Don't expect anything other than an apology as they won't comp you anything for your trouble. Read less

Just returned from a 10 day stay, hotel is quite tired and in need of upgrading, more sunbeds and sunshades needed, the adult pool and the other small pool are in dire need of updating as seem very neglected. Also the water in the showers for the first few days were cold and after that they were warm at the most. The food and drink were good and Troy the dining manager was one of the people who stood out for us being both charming and attentive, also Marc was a good asset to the hotel as he got things done he also seemed to have ideas for the future of the hotel such as evening BBQs with entertainment. After the first week and the group of Canadians who were the entertainment went home not a lot else happened in the evenings and the hotel seriously lacked an entertainment programme that is advertised in the brochure. More singers are needed or even open the piano bar for some ambience as this was not opened at all during our stay. However Tobago is a great island with lovely people with some beautiful beaches we will return and maybe to this hotel if changes are made. Read less

We took the free hotel shuttle bus to Pigeon point for a swim and lunch a few times. The main pool/bar are very nice but when the hotel was busy (weekend) needed more sun beds and parasols! Our room was spacious lovely sunny balcony. (Thankyou to Hollis for moving us) Bathroom was ok plenty of towels ...could probably do with an upgrade... Breakfast was good plenty of choice and great fresh cooked eggs however you liked them....nice also to sit outside on the terrace. We ate mostly in the buffet restaurant in the evening and if you were lucky to have Pamela serve you that was a bonus .......what a lovely lady. Lunch in the grill lovely right next to the ocean... We had drinks in the pub or on their balcony....we missed there was no piano style bar to relax with a drink before dinner. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and always said Hello. The GM Vinod Bajaj was always around checking on things and talking to guests ..he was very concerned for me when unwell. Thank you.... Lovely restful holiday glorious sunny weather could do as much as you wanted or not! .. .... Hope to return one day.... The Hire Read less

Entertainment was good, three girl singers and Jazz band with Johnny.Room was clean, nice view, nice breeze off the ocean, some seaweed on the beach(can’t help that). Great golf course for golfers! Take the free shuttle to Pidgeon Point Beach and do a tour of the island with Ram. Read less
