I was slightly nervous about travelling on my own but as it turned out I had a fab holiday. I got to the airport expecting to get a taxi as holiday operator said no transfer. I spoke to rep and said I'm with your company but have no transfer. She was actually waiting for me. A great rep she told me where shops etc. The 5 minute car journey was fab. Checked in and given a rum punch and a guy came to take my bags to my room. Room 304 I was amazed with the view, I had booked a standard room and I think I got the better view of the sea than the upgraded guests. Room was spacious and very clean. No shortage of towels. I had bought my own iron and hairdyer as previous reviews had said standard rooms didnt have these. But there they were in the wardrobe. Food was good I think there was only one soup I didnt like. Breakfast and lunch were the best meals of the day, as the evening meals were very limited. I ate too much at breakfast and lunch so most nights had a small dinner. You have to remember that it's a small hotel and your not going to get a massive variety of food. The pool area was fab never had a problem getting a sunbed. There is a problem with people putting towels on sunbeds but hey they got caught out with the rain showers. Pool towels are provided and you can change them at reception whenever you need a new one. The bar area was fab and the staff were friendly and helpful. They allow you to take drinks to your room and i often popped down for coffee. I have read most of the reviews before booking so I knew this hotel wasn't going to be the massive all inclusive hotels I've been to before. It's a 3 star hotel and it a great small friendly hotel. As for being a solo traveller i felt safe the whole of my holiday. The staff really looked out for me. I would return to the hotel again. Any questions just ask. Read less
