Paradise Cove

Mauritius, Indian Ocean

The hotel

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

We were on half board and our room had a bottle of sparkling wine and some macarons and choc truffles, which were a nice touch, and something we never had in other hotels. There are 3 pools which we really liked and enjoyed. The food was really good as well, and nice variety at breakfast. We would definitely go again and we highly recommend it! Read less

We have had a memorable week-end and have been particularly impressed by the quality of the service, the refined cuisine and, of course, the breath-taking view of the Coin de Mire from the Peninsula swimming-pool.The recent renovation of this hotel has been a big success.

Love love the colonial concept with a modern twist. The room decor was a dream!!! Also very eco friendly with the motion sensors etc... In terms of hospitality, we were always greeted with a big smile. All the employees are well mannered and will make sure that you are being given the best service. I think it’s the only hotel where the managers actually approach all the clients to check on them (and not just leave a welcoming note in your room like most hotels do). Highly appreciated! Food was of good quality - basically had fine dining at dinner! Impressed by the presentation of the dishes. The breakfast buffet was just enough, although i’d request that they review the coffee being served. I’m an avid coffee drinker and that’s definitely not how you serve a french pressed coffee :( The water was not warm enough and it was pressed too soon. Anyways, still loved the fact that they serve unlimited detox drinks all day and have super cosy (& instagrammable) bars ;) Their beach area is quite small but you do get breathtaking views from their infinity pools and restaurants! :) Also, love the fact that it’s an adults only hotel. You really do enjoy the peace and quiet.... Parents, i’d totally recommend that you take a break from the kids! It’s definitely worth it. Looking forward to my next visit! I gotta say that the hospitality was definitely the best i’ve experienced so far compared to bigger 5-stars hotels. Read less

It’s no secret that Mauritius has some world-class hotels, and this is, hands down, one of the best hotels I have stayed in during all my travels around the world. With its 75 rooms, Paradise Cove is an adult-only hotel with its own tucked away beach. The cove is also complemented by a spa, fitness centre and 4 swimming pools, 2 of which are infinity pools. The two restaurants on site, The Dining Room and The Peninsula serve some of the best food I’ve ever had - all halal! For those of us conscious of our environmental impact, Paradise Cove (like all Attitude hotels) has eliminated single-use plastics since last year. All in all, i can’t wait to go back - for longer this time! Read less
