Less formal dining includes the all-day dining restaurant Giornotte, built to resemble a classic Italian villa, or Al Fresco Pool and Beach Restaurant with a variety of Mexican dishes, healthy salads and cocktails, as well as Dolce for espresso and ice-cold gelato.

The housekeeping team are the nicest people - Raseshwar looked after us so well. The resort is very beautiful and very safe.

Ruby at Dolce such a lovely and caring person, enjoy family back in the Philippines. Kind at Giornette again a lovely person and great service. Your manager Jako will be proud of you. Jako you never stopped being busy to ensure everything was right for the customers. All staff the best ever. Stayed on a half board basis and we had breakfast and evening meal each day but you could swap to have lunch rather than evening meal if you prefer. Remember to use the happy hours at different restaurants at different times of the day. Li Jiang Asian food was amazing and the pinot noir perfect. The Forge Steak restaurant had fantastic cuts of meat and some great reds. Mijana for Lebanese food had some amazing flavours. Giornotte was the buffet restaurant but the choice on offer was very good. The highest compliment to give any Hotel is to say we really want to go back. One of the best saturday brunch in UAE ! Awesome team with Sanjay, Ashok, Aurora and Mogank ! They were so nice with us ! Food experience is unbelievable. Different packages for everyone, you can choose with or without alcohol. Definitly a must do !

The well documented rainfall during the week threw up an incredibly challenging set of circumstances for the staff as water was coming into some of the common areas of the hotel. There was literally teams of people working round the clock to make the guest experience exceptional which they 100% achieved with no substandard service evident throughout our break. Special mention to the guys at Dolce & Sorso for making our stay memorable during evening drinks. The breakfast service at Giornotte was also first class!! Dinner at Li Jiang was the standout for us however - amazing food & service with great views of the mosque as the sun goes down!! Would definitely recommend the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi!! Read less

However upon leaving and checking out from the hotel en route to airport I left my phone in the taxi which melted into the busy Abu Dhabi traffic. However upon leaving and checking out from the hotel en route to airport I left my phone in the taxi which melted into the busy Abu Dhabi traffic. I had no taxi number/receipt etc. Tried multiple different people at the airport but no luck and not a sign of any help or support. Initially my wife called the hotel and a receptionist literally fobbed her off saying he couldn’t do anything about it even though we got the taxi from the hotel. Upon my desperate second call to the hotel for help, Michael picked up the phone. He was amazing and so empathic, he listened to my concerns carefully and took control of the situation reassuring me that he would do his best to help us. He managed to view the cctv footage , tracked the taxi down through the taxi helpline. Spoke to the taxi driver and then sent us telephone number of the taxi driver so we could let him know we were at the airport. With an hour to spare I got my phone back in my hands and was soo relieved. So a big shout for Michael and his 5* star efforts. It is with employees like these that make all the difference to these hotels. Read less
