This evening My daughters and I visited my brother Hazem who is staying at Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi. Hazem suggested to try the Mijana Restaurant and so we did. And this is the outcome of our experience : I have been to many restaurants worldwide over the past six decades, but noting to compare with our experience at Mijana Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, amazing food and amazing staff. The manager Mr. Hussain and his team left a long lasting impression with us. My daughters who are currently studying at King's College London, flew to Abu Dhabi for the summer holiday and have been totally amazed with this great time, great food, great staff. I truly encourage everyone to treat themselves with a visit to this great restaurant, nothing alike. Typically in any restaurant you get treated as a table number, but not at Mijana, where they treat you as a VIP customer. We truly enjoyed our time at Mijana. Thank you Hussain and thank you to all your super team and definitely to the Chef Saleh. 14-6-2019 Read less

Having been a frequent traveller to the UAE this is the first time that everything has gone without a single glitch. The hotel is divine and service is professional without being stuffy. Every member from the reception to pool life guards are wonderful, insightful and ready to assist you. Will definitely return. Thank you.

We stayed with our daughter over the Eid Public holidays for a lovely 2 night break. Being someone who stays frequently at Ritz-Carlton Hotels it was the first time we stay at this Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Because our room wasn't ready during the check-in we friendly receptionist mentioned for us to relax by the pool which we definitely did. The hotel pool is truly huge in size that you might not find anywhere else in Abu Dhabi. Even though it was pretty crowded but we still managed to find some sun loungers to relay till the room was ready and this didn't take long. We where escorted to our room (we had Deluxe room) and everything was throughly explained. The rooms are definitely not only the small side and we did have as well a wonderful view over the pool and the canal. All in all, the room was very lovely, same a the bathroom. Only hung up was, it was already a bit outdated, no USB connector in the room which most Hotels have these days, internet was slow etc. My daughter who loves her bubble baths was disappointed that the plug of the bathroom wasn't working. Calling the reception and housekeeping, the mentioned that someone will come over straight away, wrong, nobody came. I had to call the next day again and only then someone finally came to fix it. The Restaurants have been exceptional, we dined at Li Jiang and The Forge (highly recommend it for Steak lovers). One thing that I didn't like is that they did not acknowledge Elite Members when checking in...and this in a Ritz-Carlton Hotel?) Breakfast for a 5 star Hotel could be better, no much of fruits to offer, steamed mushrooms have not been even fresh, only out of the can (for a 5 star Hotel a big no no), they did not have Maple syrup for Pancakes on one of the days we stayed ( how is that possible?!?). I definitely can highly recommend the ESPA with their incredible treatments. Our daughter definitely loved the Ritz Kids and as already mentioned before, the huge Hotel pool. We did have some small issues but otherwise we had some lovely relaxing days. Definitely will be back for some staycation Read less

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Grand Canal in June 2019. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable! ALL of the staff work so hard and nothing is too much trouble for them and they do this in 40 degree heat with a smile on their faces. The room was beautiful and so big and spacious. We had an amazing pool and grand canal/beach view from our balcony. There was everything in the room from a full size ironing board and iron, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer, slippers, dressing gown and plenty of towels and flannels. We stayed on a half board basis and it was definitely worth it. Soft drinks were also included. The food was delicious and high quality. Each night there was a good variety of food and many delicious cakes. Breakfast was also full of options too. The hotel is so close to the mosque and there are many photo points around the hotel complex. We asked reception about the best photo point and they got someone to take us in a golf buggy to the perfect place. We could have easily walked it but because of the heat they got us a golf buggy to save us walking. The Mosque is definitely worth a visit and especially as it’s so close. We can’t thank the staff enough for our amazing stay. From the staff on the reception desk who gave us advice of where to visit to the pool guys who got us sun beds and towels everyday and continuously kept bringing us buckets of ice and water to the restaurant staff who were so friendly and even gave us a ‘goodbye’ cake on our last night. They all made our stay so special! We will definitely be returning! Read less

We had the privilege of staying here for one night due to flying Business Class with Etihad. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were made to feel special. An amazing hotel in a great location to visit the Sheike Zayed Grand Mosque. Thank you for the experience.
