I forgot the name of the guy who served us around the main pool and in Lagoon too, but he was from Goa I believe. Overall, it had been a great stay and looking forward to visit again soon. Read less

There is a spa available but I thought it to be too expensive and gave it a skip. The bedrooms are good with a bath tub, shower, bidet and of course toilet. Read less

The hotel was lovely and what you would expect from a 5 star hotel , the staff where amazing And could not do enough for you , I don’t think I opened a door the whole time I was there . The Restaurants where lovely the food was amazing and catered for vegetarians and vegans , the service in the Restaurants was faultless . The reason for only giving 4 start is because on the beach if any jelly fish came into the swimming area they would remove them From the sea and kill them , I don’t think this is necessary or appropriate to be doing ( with the oceans being as they are ) if you swim in the sea you swim at your own risk , we should not be removing wild life from the ocean and killing it ! Upon arriving to the hotel, we had an arguement about the type of room that we chose, nevertheless, this is not the problem. The problem is the way the manager and specifically someone called "Irina", talks to the guest as if they are nothing infront of her. The problem is the way the manager and specifically someone called "Irina", talks to the guest as if they are nothing infront of her. The inconsistent and unprofessional way of talking to us is totally inappropriate. Definitely not the standards of Anantara that we know. Such a disappointment. We are staying 2 nights at the hotel till the 23rd of September, and from the arrival, we regretted our choice. Read less

Recently stayed in Anantara Resort Hotel at the Palm with the my friends. It has this Thai vibe from the entrance to the whole ambiance of the hotel. We got ourselves two rooms, one with the lagoon view and the other one is with lagoon access which has a perfect set up for relaxation (no kidding). When they say lagoon access it means that the room has a pool which is literally accessible directly from the room and it's 24 hours open, aside from the main pool that they have facing the beach (amazing right?). Thank you indeed to Vanessa and Konchit during check-in who was ever helpful and accomodating. We were early birds that time but these staff made sure that we get our room right away. I also would like to mention Aung who was indeed cheerful even during check out and asked us if we did enjoy our stay (which we obviously did). By the way the Gym is big and has a complete equipment. Our rooms include breakfast at Crescendo which offers scrumptious and overwhelming selections of food from salads, pastries and main dishes. I wished that time to have triple stomach so that I could still fill it up with that delicious breakfast. Cheerful Laila greeted us the moment we entered the restaurant and offered us there choices of special omellette, it's a must try when you dine there. Special mention to Raychel who made sure we were taken care of at our table and to Effie who amidst the busy service made her way to get me a watermelon juice because I am too lazy to get it myself. Special thanks as well to the housekeeping staff who took care of our rooms (didn't get their names) and to the Room service team. Our stay is a 100% relaxation and we were so happy to be taken care of these happy and cheerful staff of Anantara Resort. Definitely going to recommend it to all of my friends and colleagues.
