Dear Anantara team, We have arrived back from our one week stay at the resort. I cannot say thank you enough for making our stay so pleasurable. The resort was immaculate and the food at all the restaurants we ate in was very good - especially Mekong. We have been to Dubai several times and I can say hand on heart that the hospitality we have received has been the best. Every staff member that we interacted with were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was ever too much. In particular I would like to say a thank you to Jeffrey, Dee, Samuel and Faizan. We will definitely be back and will most definitely be recommending Anantara to our friends and family. Best wishes Priyesh, Komal and Avi Read less

Reading other reviews, there is a common theme here that the management have got this resort more or less right, and I can only endorse that. We (family of 3 adults) stayed for 7 nights in a Premier Lagoon Access Room at the end of February, the first week of March. We did need a bit of adjustment early on as we found little in the way of drawers for clothes in what was a large room. My wife decided to 'live out of her suitcase' but this did not pose too much of a problem, but perhaps a consideration could be made for extra storage and drawers. My son who is 6 foot 3 inches wasn't too comfortable on the put up bed in our room, but he got used to it. The clothes storage and son's bed were the only things we commented on while we stayed at this brilliant resort. We felt so relaxed and well looked after by the staff. A special mention to lifeguard Michael who chatted with us on many occasions. As well as named staff, a big plus for the resort is the bird wildlife. As we sunbathed next to the pool, at times you could hear no voices but the sounds of birds. You felt you were in a tropical forest with the trickle of water nearby, it was so relaxing. I won't go into them as most other reviews already have, but all the restaurants delivered, they were exceptional! We stayed half board and went to breakfast late which more or less kept us going until dinner. The price of drinks? Well we had read other comments and decided it was a holiday where we would not go too mad on the quantity of drinks. But we had a glass of wine and water with our meals. All still very enjoyable. Thank you management and staff of the Anantara Dubai for a wonderful stay. We would have no hesitation in choosing you again. Read less

Even if you’re not staying at the hotel (which I’ve done several times in the past), a full-day beach and pool access with a lunch/early dinner is still an amazing experience on its own. The beach is very clean + the water is very calm and perfect for paddle boarding (they’ve got the rental station right beside the volleyball court). Make sure to get there early, to be able to enjoy the beach facilities to the fullest. They’ve also got a happy hour at the pool bar with buy-1-get-1 cocktails + the sunset views from the Beach House restaurant are out of this world. Thank you so much to the service team on the beach – for a quick service and attentiveness. Truly enjoyed and will surely come back! Read less

The resort had a great range of restaurant and bar options for our half board stay and ensured our interest and variety throughout 10 days. We particularly like the Revo Cafe for breakfast and the bushman for a cheeky drink during happy hour and great food. The Ltus lounge was also lovely for a sun-downer before dinner. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful and in particular we would like to offer special thanks to Hakeem who serviced our room every day during our stay. It really makes a difference when housekeeping is so good and has a personality to go with it. Thanks Hakeem from the Austins in room 4213 :) Read less

This was our first time to Dubai and there are a lot of hotels to choose from. We were very happy with our choice of Anantara, which was booked through Trailfinders. The hotel seemed good value compared to other 5* resorts in Dubai. The service in this hotel is really terrific - helpful and efficient the whole way through the holiday. We stayed in a premier lagoon view room, initially in block 51 which, although conveniently located, was behind the beach house restaurant and we found it to be noisy in the early hours of the morning. We reported this to reception and we were moved without fuss the same day to block 46 which was a lovely peaceful spot. The room itself was great - spacious, comfy bed, great shower, 2 sinks and everything you would want from tea and coffee facilities to iron and ironing board. We stayed half board and a real perk is you can choose to have either lunch or dinner as your included meal which worked well when we did trips out into Dubai and didn't waste our meal allowance. We were also given lunch and dinner on our second day as we checked in too late to get dinner on our first night. There is a buffet restaurant plus 3 other main a la carte options for dining. We tried them all and they were all great. Swimming was a real highlight here. They have several large lagoons which offer a huge space to swim in and at a lovely temperature too (sometimes large pools are very cold). We didn't even need go in the main pool although it looked great. There are also ample loungers on the beach which is private and right in the resort so everything is super close and easy. It was a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Read less
