This is a great hotel - I have stayed there before but this is just a warning about the way the website booking process works. It is the same for all of the Jumeriah hotels so I will add the same review on each to warn people. Having decided to re-visit I went to the website and found details of their Half Board option. It is called Jumeriah Flavours and if you google "Jumeriah half board" it will tell you they have complimentary half board. See attached image. Having found this online I then searched the hotels they have before deciding to book. I found the Jumeriah Offers (within their various offers) and clicked on BOOK OFFERS. From here I was asked to select dates and a code PSGO0 is linked to the top of the page. Naturally you would think that the code bears some suggestion that you have come from an Offer page and you are now booking that offer. However you go through the process and then it came up with the options of booking 'with cancellation rates, or without. AT NO STAGE does it mention in the process that you are no longer selecting HALF BOARD. At the end of the booking process I was surprised I had nothing confirming Half Board in my confirmation email, so I emailed the hotel to confirm that was what I booked, so that I didn't have issues on arrival. The hotel wrote back and said that it wasn't half board and there was another option which was 'hidden' which would have been more expensive. I was in fact room only. They were not particularly helpful on their emails, and offered no apology. Since I booked the website now has a bed and breakfast option added and also another 'view more rates' option that allows you to find the Jumeriah Flavours. This does make it a little clearer as seeing a Bed and Breakfast option on the same page at a higher price does make you realise that the offer couldn't be half board. But this was not there as you will see from the screen shot. I believe it has just been added due to this issue. The problem I had is that from the Jumeriah Offers web page when you click BOOK OFFER it at no point tells you that you are in fact no longer booking that offer. I have since cancelled as the cost is more than double and only add this review on here (and all of the Jumeriah hotels) as a warning to others. Read less
