We love staying at Jumeirah Hotels but our recent stay at Dar Al Masyaf is so far the best stay that we had in years. We stayed in a villa with balcony connected to the courtyard. Imagine the lush greenery with vast bermuda grass and mix of tropical plants & trees whilst overlooking the serene turquoise beach. The sound of the birds, calming waves by the shore and the gentle summer wind were so relaxing. It’s a quiet oasis in the middle of the busy city. We had sunset yoga by the beach which made us even more relaxed as we end our day. What can be more relaxing than having unlimited refreshments (non-both alcoholic and alcoholic) as the night starts which was also available at the villa‘s lounge. To start the morning we had an option to relax by the beach or take another meditation by joining yoga at the garden. Small activity in the morning made us tired that we craved for a sumptuous breakfast which we had in a restaurant (Pierchic) surrounded by water with one side overlooking Burj Al Arab & other hotels, and another side witht the view of the Palm & the rest of the Persian Gulf. Moving from one side of the property to another for dining options and other (sports)activities, we were taken by a luxurious abra (water taxi) which we took advantage to see the small alleys and discover other views that change depending on time of the day-this is a secret that Madinat lake offers. The place, the view, the food, the experience - they were all perfect. The most important aspect of our memorable stay is because of the people. The management and staff are the reason why we are always coming back. Marycris, Kelly, Eugene & other Dar Al Masyaf staff treated us not just as guests but like one of their families wherein they tailored their service based on our preference. Mary and Michelle from Pierchic made us feel like we are dining with familiar friends. It was such an amazing stay that made us rejuvenated. We will definitely be back soon! Read less

Free water park entry which is a bonus for the kids which again can get quite expensive. I would definitely come back! Read less

Dar Al Masyaf is the one resort I really wanted to experience while living in Dubai. It delivered the expectations with some unexpected minor disappointments which I hope is only caused by unusual circumstances of the current pandemic. During our stay we did feel safe, and we find the adjustments the hotel made satisfactory. The cocktail service Delivered by the villa butler at the end of the afternoon is a particularly wonderful touch. Surprisingly, while the rooms are well appointed, the impression we have are of thinner walls as we could hear outdoor noises made by neighbouring villas while we are still trying to sleep. Overall, I would like to come back for a more favourable experience. The facilities though are definitely well worth the promise of a 5star Jumeirah resort. Read less
