This was my first time to Dubai so I can't base this on multiple visits. We had stayed at the Waldorf on the Palm for 3 nights previous to that and can only compare to that. I found the hotel lovely, most of the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Food was good and plentiful. Pools were great (however noisy building work next door!) We upgraded to a Suite (Room 605) which included access to the club lounge - the staff here were absolutely 5*, I can't fault them at all. Also the desk, concierge and door staff - they too were great. I have no complaints about the room (bed, layout, bathroom etc) HOWEVER the noise was horrendous. I am a light sleeper which probably doesn't help but there was a continuous vibration. We were asked on checkout how our room was so I mentioned the noise as I think it really did take away from our experience and the manager said there was nothing they could do now as we should have said something at the time. I had to say I didn't ask for anything, I was asked how was the room so I told them. They did give us a small amount of money back and said when you review please review at 8 and above as it brings their score down. So the small amount of money he gave back was to guarantee I would do that. This really is unacceptable. Overall is some parts are 5*, some staff are 5*, other parts are just average. I don't wan't to mark the whole hotel down to average on my review because I feel that's unfair to some of the great staff and parts of the hotel. Read less

We had a very nice time here and enjoyed our second time in this hotel. Thanks a lot to Concierge Shiju who took care of our requirements and helped us a lot. The spa area is very good and there is not too much rush. So you can really relax and enjoy the hamam.

Le Royal Meridien gives guests a free shuttle to downtown Malls of Emirates & Dubai Mall . Also the pools are large & there is an adult only pool option. The breakfast is amazing with numerous options & unfortunately you can gain weight with all the food they give you. I also ate at their seafood restaurant, Gaiely, which was delicious. It was too bad that the Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant-was closed. The manager Mohamed Matzouk was very accommodating when I had a small problem & I thank him for thank .Marriott should know that Me. Matzouk is very responsive to his guests. I highly recommend Dubai Le Royal Meridien!! Read less
