The Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Dubai Beach, Dubai Beaches and beyond

The hotel

Following an exciting refurbishment during summer 2018, this iconic Jumeirah Beach property is back looking better than ever! Not only is the 'wave' design stunning to behold, it's rather clever too. That's because every room enjoys a sea view from its floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Guests also have an extensive choice of restaurants and bars to dine at ranging from the romantic beachside setting of Villa Beach, to a fun time with the family at Kitchen Connection. Kitchen Connection and Beachcombers restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers an inspiring International cuisine with an electric mix of live cooking stations and exceptional ambience. The hotel's excellent Jumeirah Beach location means that plenty of water sports are on offer including kayaking and water-skiing. If you fancy a bit of pampering, you can unwind at the hotel's Talise Spa featuring a range of treatments including; massages and aromatherapy. The more active among you will enjoy the vertical challenge as you scale the 6 metre climbing wall, or how about a game of tennis or squash? If you are looking for a destination that offers more than just a place to exercise, then Talise Fitness is perfect for you. The complimentary Kids' Club also provides a huge range of fun and fully supervised activities for children of all ages including face painting and mask making. But if you are coming to this hotel from now until 2021 when the building work finishes then you’re in for disturbed sleep! The building work is 24/7 and even though we stayed on the 20th floor it was extremely loud and annoying! We had been warned by the travel company some 3 months before that there was SOME building work and that if it was bad we could move to the Al Qasr hotel but this had been a dream for my wife to stay here for her birthday which I must say the hotel were fantastic about decorating the room and providing a cake.👍 I’ve mentioned to the reception staff a few times about the building work but honestly what can they do? This is major building work, building a new hotel but possibly what Jumeirah could do is not charge “Top Dollar” for a hotel that is not the perfect experience you were expecting and paid for! From the moment we arrived at this hotel we completely relaxed and had an absolutely fabulous time. The staff are so helpful and happy. The food was delicious. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and was so lovely and clean. The Executive Club pool was very nice and the beach is just perfect. If you have the opportunity to upgrade to the Executive Club I would highly recommend as you are able to pop in for afternoon tea and also for a drink before venturing out in to Dubai in the evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel at all. Perfect holiday Read less
