Arrived early in the morning, following an overnight flight from the UK (airport transfer kindly provided by the hotel). Did not expect room to be available that early in the morning, but luckily we were offered the choice of two rooms (high floor on construction side or lower floor, with balcony, on Wild Wadi side). We looked at both and accepted lower floor room, which we were glad we did as it was a great location and very well appointed, plus the balcony was enjoyed by us all. Ariel our room attendant was absolutely lovely and everything was kept immaculately clean and tidy. We looked forward to returning to our room each day to see what towel creatures he had created....his crocodile (with opening mouth) was a masterpiece and he left us little gifts every evening, ranging from dates, nail, buffers, fans, phone case holding rings, etc (a lovely touch). We booked Club Room package, with Half Board, and I would highly recommend this as the dining options are very varied and extensive, across the Jumeirah hotels, plus use of the Club Lounges at the hotel (with drinks and snacks etc) are extremely handy and we used them almost daily. Sreedhar and his team (level 24) were just exceptional and took such good care of us....we cannot thank him enough. What a lovely man. The Club Room package also allowed us use of the Executive Pool (which is easily reached by golf buggy) and we used this every day. Again, Earl and his team were kind and attentive and looked after us very well on a daily basis.....much appreciated. Attended Wild Wadi (free entry for hotel guests). Seems a little run down in appearance so would not rush back but it's a handy and close addition. Breakfast at Kitchen Connections was always great. We never left it too late to head down in the morning as it could get rather busy after 10am. Staff all attentive and hard working in there. Would have liked Beachcombers to be open daily as it was a nice alternative breakfast option. Never tried D&A for food...there seemed far better dining options along at Souk Madinat area which again was easily reached by golf buggy (plus the water abras there are another great way to get around). Would highly recommend Italian Trattoria, Mexican, Noodle House and American Smokehouse - huge platefuls of delicious food. Found Souk itself expensive! La Perilla on floor 25 was lovely (supplement to pay). Scape at Burj Al Arab was a little disappointing and not cheap (again supplement to pay) so would not return there......menu choices very limited, but glad we saw inside the Burj. Lack of evening entertainment was a disappointment - no music, nothing. Think this needs to be addressed. Not much for teens to do either, so perhaps a Teen Club area should be looked at also. Construction work/noise caused us little or no impact at all....only heard it about 3 times during our 2 week stay. Overall we had an amazing family holiday, with nothing major to complain about at all. All staff at JBH we encountered were polite and happy to help. Read less

Pros: very family friendly. Kids received welcome pack, including an activity book and complimentary milkshake. Kids club is well equipped. Complimentary suntan available at kids pool. Friendly staff. Cons: Strictly speaking, this is not about Beach Hotel, but Wild Wadi Park. The locker rental is very expensive.

After we complained to the management about all the noise, they told us that we were to late, because other guests arrieved earlier than us and they could not move us or upgrade us. All this happend despite asking several days before arriving for a quite suite. It feels like we are now supervising the construction site. Mayby we can move tomorrow to the opposite side of the hotel, where it hopefully will be a little bit quieter. Read less

Service across all sections of the hotel were outstanding and cannot be faulted. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Rooms are gorgeous and the variety of food choices fantastic. Will defiantly be coming back to stay here again. Construction outside starts early and woke me up but didn't spoil my visit.

We stayed at JBH in May/June. We was a little anxious returning to our favourite hotel which had been refurbished, but it felt the same welcoming and familiar place ,mainly because of the staff who welcome us back each year. Ann on Reception, looked after us, from checking in too an amazing room which I requested and also Dipak throughout our holiday. I would always recommend the executive pack ,which makes your holiday even more special because again of the staff, from Earl with his team at the executive pool reserving your sunbeds each day and helping to book your choice of around 50-60 restaurant to dine at with the HB deal. You also get access to the executive bar for 2 hours free Alcohol drinks each evening looked after by Sheerhar & Langton, plus lots more ....... There is building work , where the JB marina used to be. We could hear works at night but didn’t disrupt our holiday and didn’t corse us any issues. If you want a holiday where are you are looked after, in lovely surroundings but doesn’t feel over the top , this is the place for you and your family. See you next year Thanks to all the team 😁 Read less
