Our family stayed at the Jumeirah Beach in January of 2020. We were very impressed with the hotel. While the building itself is not young, the interior was very modern. The room was large and comfortable. There was a well-appointed bathroom with a separate toilet and bidet room. The beds were comfortable, and storage as aplenty. The view of the Burj Al Arab was unbeatable! In terms of facilities, the pool area was gorgeous. In fact, despite having access to the premium pool, we did not even check it out until our last day. In addition, with the Jumeirah Beach belonging to the Jumeirah collections of hotels, guests have access to Jumeirah Al-Naseem, Jumeirah Al-Qasr, Jumeirah Mina Asaalam, and Jumeirah Dar Al-Masyaf. There were complimentary buggies available to take guests to the said hotels. Next to Mina Asaalam is the Souq Madinat Jumeirah, easily accessible to guests courtesy of the buggies. Additionally, there were a series of canals that were enjoyable to ride on with the hotels' complimentary Dhow taxi. Service in the Jumeirah Beach was generally quite good, and a few employees were definitely memorable in their approach to service. For example, one member of the waitstaff remembered our coffee orders for previous days. Now, the couple of negatives. There was a large Chinese tour group at the hotel coinciding with our stay, and they booked out the regular breakfast restaraunt. This was not properly communicated to us, and we arrived one morning to see the only food on offer was a Chinese buffet. We were sent to Beachcomber, which ended up being roughly the same selection, (although the coffee was machine-made, unlike the main restaurant, and not very good). This should've been communicated to us during check-in. Secondly, the hotel lobby had a weird odour, and the hallways smelled a bit like mildew. This was not a huge problem as the room itself smelled fine, but was a small nuisance. Otherwise, our stay was nearly perfect, and an excellent value, (especially compared with the other Jumeirah properties). Read less

Not up to the standards of the other Jumeirah resorts and hotels. Rude reception staff. Hair found in breakfast. Pool area looks like a cheap hotel and the beach is a building site. Not worth the money!

Sometimes I can not understand how others say that they are not friendly. I work in Hotel Management myself and I can assure you that they are very service focused (of course it also depends how you are yourself towards the staff). Spacious and luxurious rooms viewing pools and the Burj al Arab. Would definitely return. Read less

Stayed here after moving from another hotel for six nights. This hotel is wonderful and the staff are the most polite and engaging I have ever come across and that includes cleaners to check in staff. I cannot fault this hotel. There is building work going on 24 hours and we stayed on the side of the hotel that they are working but we did not notice any excessive noise. The restaurants are wonderful and you can go to all the Jumeriah group hotels. Buggies take you back and forth to each different hotel. The Manager at the Beachcomers restaurant is wonderful and she really makes you feel welcome. Christine at the Pearl lounge was great as is Kabir at breakfast, always a smile. We will be back here that is for sure, Read less
