The hotel

Charmingly modern, yet at the same time crammed full with culture, the Dan Panorama has little touches of history everywhere you look. From the natural stone exterior, to the rooftop pool overlooking the city and the unbeatable location, you’re certainly in for a treat. Sample some Israeli cuisine in the restaurant, and chill out in one of the three bars, cocktail in hand. Hop across the road to Bloomfield Gardens (one of the largest parks in Jerusalem) and meander through the Old City, admiring the fascinating architecture and historical remnants of one of the oldest cities in the world.

We own a tour company and have stayed here over the years. It has always been a top place to stay for our guests. We have now stayed here following the 2 year pandemic gap and must say, it still is just a wonderful hotel. Clean, efficient, lovely, nice amenities. The staff is professional, friendly and extremely helpful as well as accommodating to all our requests. The food is certainly tasty, fresh, and varied. Our recent guests all raved about staying here and have told us “this is really 5 star!” Bassam, Food and Beverage Manager was just delightful, helpful, and so very professional. You cannot go wrong staying here! Also nice is in safe walking distance to Mamilla Mall and the Old City. Read less

She was very helpful and accommodated for us whenever we needed guidance. She made sure to recommend and let us know of the current events that is happening in town and helped us with our travel to Tel Aviv. Without her and another colleague (sorry I forgot as I hadn't taken his Name) we would have been clueless and lost. Thank you to all the receptionists as they were all readily available, kind and keen to help always. I also want to recommend the masseuse in the Hotel Spa, Tamar. The service she gave me was outstanding and the massage I received helped so much with my back and neck pains. She was so kind and gave lots of advice/instructions to better my posture. Wonderful lady! The cleaners and the waitresses during breakfast also gave great service! So attentive The location was great as it was only a 12-20 minutes walk to the old city and travelling to different areas was easy by bus or train. Only thing I had an issue with was the service by the bar. It was really slow and difficult to get the attention of a certain bartender in a few occasions. It was quite disappointing to see the difference of service between the bar and the restaurant as it is highly noticeable. Other than that, a pleasant experience overall. Read less

Check-in was swift and pleasant Our room was clean and comfortable , with a modern bath Service was IMPECCABLE.. If we asked for more towels etc., they arrived within minutes Indeed, the entire staff was friendly throughout The food excellent! There was great variety and quality cuts of meat in abundance Everything was quite tasty Only once was something cold , and when I mentioned it to the chef, it was replaced The hotel even arranged a free walking tour for the guests ( I hope they do this every holiday!) Thanks to Shimon , Naam , Gal, and the entire staff for making our stay as pleasant as it was When in Jerusalem, we will only stay at your hotel! Read less
