Dan Panorama Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv, Israel

The hotel

The setting of this hotel is quite something. You'll be just steps from Tel Aviv's lively beachfront and a stroll to Jaffa Old City and the hip-and-happening Port. Check out the sights and smells of the vibrant Carmel Market and perhaps haggle for spices and local treats. It's not all about the location though. Little ones will love it at Dan Panorama — as well as making sandcastles, they can splash around in one of the largest pools in Tel Aviv and have fun in the kids’ club. And while they’re playing, you can head to the spa for some well-deserved me time.

The primary reason why we stayed at this hotel was due to the proximity of tour pick up location. We weren't in the room much but the bed was very comfortable and the view was gorgeous. We did use the hotel room service a couple of time due to very late nights from tours and the food was always good and service was prompt. If you join the e-Dan… Read more

We did use the hotel room service a couple of time due to very late nights from tours and the food was always good and service was prompt. If you join the e-Dan club, you get some nice perks and it's no cost to join. The location is great for beach access which is right across the street. Aside from that, there are not a ton of restaurants in the immediate area. Read less

The location was great, room overlooked the beach, but also a huge parking lot. The room was small and lighting wasn't the best. We wanted food on Shabbat... my advice is to eat a big lunch and buy snacks for dinner. We stayed at a neighboring hotel at the beginning of our trip. The breakfast alone would be worth the difference in the price. If… Read more

The breakfast alone would be worth the difference in the price. If you need a quick place to stay before heading to the airport, it's perfect. If longer trip..."eh" The worst thing was it was Dec and we were cold in the room. Even though there was an adjustable thermostat, the temp remained the same. We called the desk and they said they were sending someone up. Two hours later, nobody had come up- we called again and we were told "oh, we don't have heat" If traveling here in the winter- find out if this is always the case, or did someone forget to turn it on during the Sabbath??!!! We slept in heavy sweats and socks. Read less

We stayed here with our tour group and it had the feel of a hotel that has a lot of people passing through. All of the communal areas - lobby, breakfast are very busy. Rooms are decent but the sofa bed offered for a child are very small and our 9 yr old was the full length of the sofa bed. Overall, we had a good stay and it served us well for a… Read more

We were with a tour group so perhaps we were given the lesser rooms, but certainly no view, no way to use just a sheet as cover as only a duvet on the beds. The room was hot and no air conditioning as they turn it off from 6 pm till morning. Had to ask for a floor fan to be able to sleep. The balcony glass door is sealed shut so no way to get… Read more

Room was decent size but bathroom was in need of repairs around shower. The hair dryer was installed in the closet! This hotel was billed as a 4-star hotel but I’d only give it a 3. Staff were helpful though. The dinner buffet was a good surprise as plenty of interesting dishes and the dessert bar was beautifully done, but I found the raspberry sorbet in a cone and the flan were my favorites. Read less
