I am so pleased and blown away by the treatment that Oscar gave us to rectify my situation. I would recommend Royal Beach to everyone who stays in Tel Aviv. The hotel is so beautiful and modern - exactly what I look for in a hotel. As someone who frequently travels, a gorgeous hotel is what I look for. The rooms are beautiful, I absolutely love the LED lights. Thank you so much again Oscar, I will be returning very soon! Read less

Wait to book your stay at this hotel until they iron out their customer service problems. Very long story shortened we checked in to our 4 rooms at around 6 pm . Three of the rooms were fine but one had a problem with the air conditioner. They assured us that there was no problem rather we just didn't know how to use the thermostat. (it was up and down arrows but sure.) They adjusted the air and we went out for the evening. When we arrived back to the hotel at about 10:30 the room was steamy (it's Tel-Aviv in May so of course it was) and they told us they would send someone up to look. The person they sent up was a rude security guard who assured us that nothing was wrong and left the room. I went down to speak with the manager who told us there was no other room to switch us to and then proceeded to switch us to an open room where the ac was also broken. Katia, the manager ,then spent the next 2 1/2 hours telling us there was nothing wrong with the ac and if we just opened a window it would be fine. At 1:30 am my husband came down and said enough and she switched to a larger room where the ac was just fine. We were traveling with our adult children and planned to sit in the lounge and hang with them and instead spent the evening with Katia trying to convince us that the air was fine and there was nothing she could do to help us. It shouldn't matter that we were spending literally thousands of dollars on four rooms. Everyone should get better service than that. There are two notable exceptions: Amjed who's title I don't know , was doing the job of maintenance, customer service and ac repairman. He set up the second room for us and then the room we finally ended up in. He was sweating working in the hot rooms but was so courteous and kind. He should be the front desk manager because had it been up to him we would have been taking care of properly. Second was Ruchama. She was the person they sent us to in the morning to investigate our complaint and make things right. She was appropriately appalled and offered us compensation and apologies. Unfortunately, while they did compensate us with a free night and allowed us to stay in the larger room at the lower rate, Katia was back on the job the next night so I don't know how they could have retrained her that quickly. She saw us and never apologized or said anything so we all had to keep passing her over and over and pretend that we hadn't spent 3 hours the night before fighting with her. Very uncomfortable. Lastly, the staff at the breakfast was mediocre at best which matched the breakfast itself. Frozen waffles served in their plastic bags is not the fine Israeli breakfast we've enjoyed at other hotels. Because the hotel was clean and location was good I didn't give a lower rating but so disappointing. Read less

Lovely view from my window and room so dirty and rundown you would think it is a 2-star in Paris. Room 313, and all studio rooms on the same floor pretty much have the same view. The service is terrible with people standing around chatting to themselves but not offering to help at all. People who rated this hotel 5 star must never knew true… Read more

We had to pick a hotel for Pesach having stayed at other in Tel Aviv in past years and the Royal Beach turned out to be a great choice. Rooms are very nice and the location couldn't be better. Pool is fabulous, working room nice and beach location excellent. We also appreciated the great concierge service. Our only gripe is with the parking where we had a rental car and there was no room in the valet, so it cost more than $80 per day to park in the garage under the hotel with no "in and out" privileges! This was shocking... Read less
