Grand Canyon Western Ranch

Grand Canyon, USA

The hotel

The great ranches of the Old West are considered time capsules of the American frontier and certainly you’ll get an incredible sense of history at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch, once home to Tap Duncan, a notorious gunfighter turned reputable member of society. Today, genuine pine cabin accommodation comes complete with antique cowboy bathtub, where you can literally immerse yourself in the past! The Historic Ranch House serves up authentic western home-style cooking with live cowboy entertainment to accompany your meal. There’s also an overnight campout on offer, riding first through the Joshua Tree-lined Mormon Trail. Alternatively, join a guided horseback or wagon ride and see the buffalo, the icon of the West. There's also the option to take a 20-minute Helicopter Tour from the Ranch to and inside the Grand Canyon and back. Come sundown, join your fellow cowboys and cowgirls round the campfire, toast marshmallows and listen to the songs that helped make the West famous.

All the staff were great and could not be more helpful a laid back. Cassey singing and the camp fire and the total clear sky was amassing. Do not waste your money on the Sky walk $80 for 10 min and you cannot take pictures. Read less

What an incredible weekend here! The staff and the experience is amazing. Special thank you to Reba who was accomodating. Lisa, Trina, and Lexi were so helpful and their hospitality was much appreciated. Highly reccommend anyone visiting the area or planning to go to the Grand Canyon to stay here and experience all they have to offer.

The best choice I made all day food was ok but the sing cowboy was great he made the hole family laugh and smile! My little one heard songs that i listened to when i was a kid. The office lady said they had helicopter rides. We looked into it and said ok. The pilot was so nice he let my little girl ride up with him and made her feel like she was the co pilot. When she got off the helicopter she was smiling ear to ear. As a dad that made me so happy 😊!!! After eating, flying ,feed the animals and walking around the camp we left and didn't even go th the sky walk Read less
