I thoroughly enjoyed the Nomad for my first trip. I visit LV often. In the past 18 months, stayed at Caesars, Mandalay Bay, Aria, Vdara, Wynn, and Bellagio. Nomad might have been the best. I thoroughly enjoyed the Nomad for my first trip. I visit LV often. In the past 18 months, stayed at Caesars, Mandalay Bay, Aria, Vdara, Wynn, and Bellagio. Nomad might have been the best. The good: -located in the Park MGM, its smaller than the other mega-resorts on the strip. -while other resorts offer the hotel-within-a-hotel, its not a separate tower, or without full services, etc. -only a few steps around a corner, and there was quiet and easy access to separate check-in, separate valet parking, separate casino, and, although closed at this time of year, a separate pool. -I was given an atelier suite, which is very spacious. Nicely appointed. Not perfect, but everything was new, felt high-quality, etc. I like that the furniture does not feel like typical, mass production hotel furniture. Hardwood floors make the room feel nicer and cleaner. The minibar is stocked with very nice glassware and ice bucket, and houses the in-room safe -although missed the first night of three, this is the only hotel I've visited in LV that provided turn-down service. -the Nomad staff have obviously had excellent customer service training. Every single contact made it evident they wanted to provide service. The little misses: -while very spacious, the atelier layout is a little odd. The novelty is a giant tub in the bedroom area. There is a half-bath adjacent to bedroom area, with a nice walk in shower and the sink with counter. -entry into the suite is a wide, spacious vestibule area, with a small closet, a small vanity table, the minibar, and is flanked at each end by two separate half-baths; the one with the shower, and a separate bath with toilet and small sink. -the furniture in my room was unique, and comfortable, but there was nothing plush and luxurious, such as a big chair. There was a massively wide, very low height and low profile sofa under the window, and a table with two little side chairs. All fairly firm. -the bed, made up with excellent linen, was also low - lower than any other hotel bed on the Strip. While comfortable, its not as comfortable as modern, pillow top beds. -they promote the rooms as unique; I think each room is furnished differently. Perhaps low profile is an element of ateliers. -while adequate for me as a solo traveler, the closet is small, and houses a very small two-drawer dresser. Two people with clothes for 2-3 days might find storage inadequate. But these misses are very minor points. Overall, Nomad was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoted feeling as if I had very near and easy access to the craziness and energy of a Las Vegas casino, but a quiet and de-stressed retreat. No 25 minute wait for valet parking, or long lines for check-in. Calm and peaceful. So much so that, while I have upcoming reservations at another property - higher rated within the MGM properties, I may try switching to return to Nomad. Read less

Awesome location, and we had 2 nice suites. I never left the hotel grounds. Quiet when you want quiet, or can find action nearby if you want. Lots of dining options. Ask the front desk for any coupons for dining.

The rooms I liked, they are very bohemian style however I cannot get past the room service menu....they had a couple of items to choose from and very much lacked taste. Food is very important to my husband and I, we are well traveled with that being said I was astonished by the food on the room service menu. After 10 if you ordered one of the four items they had to choose from, you get them in a to go paper bag...what? The Primrose restaurant breakfast in the hotel was equally disappointing, greasy and tasted low budget with high prices. The TV did not work in the room, we tried watching movies and it would freeze so that was a no go as well. I feel this was and all around bad experience staying at the NoMad. I will never stay there again. Read less

We travel to Vegas 3 times a year and always stay at the Park. We are always treated like VIP's. Had the best experience staying in the Nomad! Everything is within walking distance. The service for checking into the room was amazing. The room is very clean and fresh. We had a special treat in our room with records and record player. So cool and different.
