Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel

Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

The hotel

Full disclosure: Hector Elizondo isn’t actually the soft-hearted manager of the Beverly Wilshire, but the spirit of this iconic upscale hotel on Rodeo Drive is very much as it appeared in Pretty Woman: elegant, immaculately finished, and a true event destination that will enhance the glamour of any LA stay immeasurably. From Cut, Wolfgang Puck’s Michelin-starred take on the steakhouse, to the serene, Mediterranean-style pool, and world-class Spa, the Beverly Wilshire offers an unforgettable flavour of Hollywood highlife that’ll stay with you long after the credits roll on your dream holiday.

Lots has been written about this hotel over the years. Being part of the movie Pretty Women also helps. The service is what you would expect and the rooms and lobby are luxurious. Cut and Blvd restaurants are fun and will make you feel that you are on a Hollywood set. The parade of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Roles will give you flashbacks to 007 movies from the past. Also if you are a star Fuc*er, there is a good chance you will see a movie star somewhere in the hotel. Read less

The hotel is beautiful. The hallways are clean and so are the rooms. They are a bit dated though.... Beds are super comfy. Towels are hard. You would expect updated fluffy towels in a place like this. The switch at your bedside controls the plug that turns on the coffee maker in the other room... We stayed in a King size suite in the adjacent… Read more

We stayed in a King size suite in the adjacent building, not the original one. It was just ok... Was it worth the money? Not sure... The gym and the pool area were very nice. The Valet workers are super nice. I just can't give it 5 stars because I feel they should update some of the basic things to warrant such an expensive stay. Read less

This hotel should had been WOW, instead it was one of the worst values. Essentially you are paying for the name, which is not even with it. The lobby is nice, staff is nice but rooms are small, dated, cracked bathroom sink... I was VERY disappointed :(

I just wanted to put a quick note out there to everyone that the workers here at this hotel are above 5 Stars. Very attentive and non-intrusive. I'm here for work and have been treated very well and with amazing attention that was not intrusive to any of my movement for the seminars that I was attending.

Our family of 4 had another wonderful stay. Housekeeping made up the fold out bed for our children with one half princess theme and the other half dinosaur theme. Rooms just as well appointed as always and staff across the board very friendly and warm. We have stayed at several other hotels in LA, this is the only hotel we keep coming back to. The… Read more
