Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel

Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

The hotel

Full disclosure: Hector Elizondo isn’t actually the soft-hearted manager of the Beverly Wilshire, but the spirit of this iconic upscale hotel on Rodeo Drive is very much as it appeared in Pretty Woman: elegant, immaculately finished, and a true event destination that will enhance the glamour of any LA stay immeasurably. From Cut, Wolfgang Puck’s Michelin-starred take on the steakhouse, to the serene, Mediterranean-style pool, and world-class Spa, the Beverly Wilshire offers an unforgettable flavour of Hollywood highlife that’ll stay with you long after the credits roll on your dream holiday.

Unhappily stuck in Beverly Hills overnight thanks to missing the last flight to San Francisco, which these days departs LAX at 7:45pm. Needed a place to stay and this was a block and a half from the restaurant I had overstayed at. Walking into the hotel with. Rite Aid bag of overnight supplies and my backpack, the front desk rightly seemed suspicious. But after hearing my woeful tale they upgraded me to a one bedroom suite. The marble bathtub helped calm me and the bed induced a good night’s sleep. Very nice room, well-kept. Hospitality and a fine room. What else could a stranded traveler ask for? Read less

We had a lovely stay at Beverly Wiltshire hotel to celebrate our son’s birthday! I have sensitivity to noise and Gerard our concierge went out of his way to find a room I would feel comfortable. We had an amazing time on our 14th floor beautiful balcony overlooking Rodeo Drive. Thank you Gerard!

After emerging from the COVID bubble, I knew I had to return to the Beverly Hills Wilshire as a treat and SOOO glad I did. I was welcomed with such a kind greeting and you could genuinely feel that everyone was so happy to be back! This is a special place; not your typical hotel. There’s lots of history; it’s old world and grand. If you want new and modern this is not the place. We had a fantastic three-night stay in a one bedroom corner suite in the newer tower. Next time we would opt to stay in the original building. The rooms and hallways are dated and in need of a… Read more

We had a fantastic three-night stay in a one bedroom corner suite in the newer tower. Next time we would opt to stay in the original building. The rooms and hallways are dated and in need of a refurb, however the bed and mattress etc. are new and the grand marble bathroom is out of this world. You cannot beat the location, it’s in the best part of Beverly Hills on Wilshire Boulevard right at the intersection of Rodeo drive. Very nice, professional staff that are not overbearing. They have the perfect mix of un-smothering attentiveness. If the rooms had been recently refreshed this would be 5 rated; but aren’t so I give 4. Would do 4.5 if offered that option. I can’t wait to return here! Read less

However Covid has decreased the amount of amenities in the rooms, since we were there last. However the staff is exceptional and very much observant to your needs. The restaurant that popped up was wonderful with great service and great food. The pool area was well kept and provided for a nice relaxing afternoons while we were staying there. When you’re in Beverly Hills there’s many places to stay. Yet, this hotel is situated in the heart of the city which is just great. Once again great management and another great time. Read less
