Kimpton Hotel Palomar Los Angeles

Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

The hotel

With an A-list address in Westwood, bordering Beverly Hills, the Palomar’s a microcosm of all that’s great in LA: the laid-back poolside living; the celeb-worthy design details; the new trend of sustainable cooking. Here you don’t just visit LA, you live it. Its sense of style infuses every space, but nowhere more so than at the pool, where an al fresco lounge features comfy cushioned seating and a fireplace. Double Take serves up unfussy, market-inspired snacks, salads and entrées that shine with Southern California ingredients. Bookending each day, the complimentary morning refreshments and evening wine hour remind you this is the land of indulgence; while the free 24-hour gym’s wall of windows looks out onto Wilshire Boulevard, so you don’t miss any sightseeing.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Unprofessional & rude front desk team misuses my credit card

Horrible front desk team including assistant front desk manager. Horrible front desk team including assistant front desk manager. Was rude, disrespectful, and did not resolve our problems of having our credit card swiped twice (without our authorization) for transactions that we did not engage in. Basically, someone from the front desk team misused my credit card and they took the issue lightly and tried to blame the accountants/back office for their misconduct. Front desk manager basically said that all she can do is reverse the transactions and we can call the bank ourselves to deal with it. It’s their mistake yet they had no intentions of solving our issues. Front desk team also messed up our check in procedure and failed to inform us of our $50 per day breakfast voucher and told us that we only had $20. Overall, front desk team has questionable integrity and bad organization!!! Read less

I stayed at Palomar hotel on business. It is completely in line with what you would expect from an hotel of that caliber. Very clean, very quiet, fantastic service, great staff,... All in all, great value. Only reason I did not give a five is that I like room with nice shower, and I feel like tub shower are a little disappointing. I guess I… Read more

Unfortunately it is not a close walking distance to any malls since its surrounded by condominiums and residential area. Staff was nice and friendly. They accommodated our request for late check out. Would recommend this hotel for businessmen but maybe not for family. Read less

This is my third stay here and the service is beyond A+. The bar is a great vibe with FREE WINE hour each day too. Whatever you do, do not miss breakfast. If time is limited you will miss the deliciousness of the jam on the toast, but do NOT leave without stopping by to see Raquel. Her magnetic joy and charming accent will make you have a new fantastic mom on Wilshire Blvd. she will make you just feel joy and no doubt is a highlight in this wonderful spot. If you’re like me you’re still thinking “free wine”? YUP! But Raquel is even better than that. DO IT! Read less
