My wife and I had a fantastic Las Vegas getaway at The Cosmopolitan. We requested a high, quiet room and received that upon check-in which was fast and easy (58th floor). If you don't get a fountain view, then don't stay here. The strip and Bellagio Fountain views with a balcony are incredible (Boulevard Tower). Housekeeping was fantastic with our room always cleaned by the time we got back from breakfast. Food: The food was very good and we enjoyed all the restaurants. We ate at Jaleo (our favorite), China Poblano, Wicked Spoon (great breakfast), The Henry (for breakfast), and Superfrico (before we went to see Opium). Superfrico was our least favorite not because of the food quality, but the portions are so small for the price you pay. We got snacks at Milk Bar (use this as your secret coffee shop since Starbucks is so crowded and expensive), Bang Bar, and milkshakes at Holsteins. Beware: There are NO coffee makers in your room. I'm not sure how much Starbucks is paying to make that happen, but if you want coffee you must go down to Starbucks every morning. Also not surprising, it's the most expensive Starbucks you will ever visit. Tip: Bring your own coffee maker! Drinks: We tried a drink at just about every bar on the property (even the secret places) but please understand that drink prices were ridiculous. Coming from New York we were prepared for high prices, but cocktails at every restaurant / bar starts at $17 and expect to pay $17-20 for each drink. Beers start at $10 for a Budweiser. The drinks you receive while gambling barely have alcohol in them, so you are better off ordering a beer as you know what you are getting. If you are heavy drinkers, increase your budget if you want cocktails in the hotel or by the pool. Opium - We went to see the show Opium which was a lot of fun. It's full of sex references, nudity, and cursing, but if you don't want a super serious show experience, I highly recommend it. Grand Canyon - We booked a day trip with "Comedy On Deck" that picked us up at Ballys at 6:30 a.m. This is also highly recommended as it's truly magical to experience the Grand Canyon. We made it back to Bally's around 6 p.m. which was fine for us. Pool - We spent some time at the Boulevard Pool (there is another one at Chelsea Towers) and it was very relaxing. Unfortunately, there are no lounge chairs with umbrellas and only daybeds are available with umbrellas, but of course, you have to pay to use those. I understand they want to make money on the daybeds, but please add more umbrellas that are free to use. Read less

I checked in at 3pm today. I had an employee use their badge to come into our room without knocking while I was undressed, and they stood their asking for a "snack" they left in our mini bar fridge. No, this is not a joke. They also didnt leave the room until we had gotten them the snack from the mini fridge. The management offered us $150 off for our two night stay. They said a full nights room comp was too much, so they think having employees invade your privacy is only woth $150. The customer service guy, John, said a full nights comp is "pricey," and they couldnt do that. Fast forward to 1am, and I was woken up because of music at the pool. My door was shut, and I could feel the bass. I called down and the simply said it wont be as bad tomorrow. Tonight, I guess we may be able to have a quiet room at 3am from what they said. They also chose to say that the nights the pool is open late is listed on their website and that apparently should have made me feel ok and to have expected a bedroom in their hotel that would be quiet was unique to me. I have asked them to bring blankets up to my room so I can sleep on the rooms' sofa, which is in a more quiet part of the room. Ihave also had to have a work order issued to have them fix lights in the bathroom. That wont be fixed until tomorrow. This is beyond anything I have seen before. Read less

Hard to condense the disappointment. Stayed for a family special occasion. Booked through AMX fine resorts. I am also a Bon Voy member. My room was equivalent to a better Fairfield Inn. We never got housekeeping service in 2 days as well as 10 room service carts remaining in the hallway for 24 hours with food amd smells waffling throughout. The… Read more

The only saving grace was Brandon at check out. We shall not return. We will pay half the money at Aria next time for a nicer room and better service. Read less

Absolutely loved our stay at the beginning of August. Lovely modern room. We had a balcony with fountain view on the 23rd floor which was perfect for us. We also had a daybed at the Chelsea pool which was great value for money - would thoroughly recommend this as an added extra. Would 100 percent stay in this hotel again.

On my most recent visit, I arrived to my room after an hour long line to find an a large industrial deodorizer in the middle of the floor. When so called to the front desk, their only option was to downgrade my room to another tower and room type. Good for cheap rooms but I no longer a premium experience. Read less
