It’s nice to have a new hotel in New York. The room contains many fancy stuffs. However, I’m not satisfied from the first impression. First, as a five star luxury hotel, the guests are sharing fitness center with the club. Secondly, there is only one bath towel in the Deluxe room. Last but not least. I booked Equinox via AmericaExpress and according to FHR plan, the hotel will offer an upgrade if available but since they don’t have extra room they won’t offer upgrade this time. Then the front desk suggested giving us a rollaway bed instead. But the manager said we can have a complimentary bed for just one night out of three. This is ridiculous! I think you can just say no complimentary bed offer or free for all three nights. Having one night for free sounds hilarious to me. Probably because we are Chinese. I’ve never heard about offering one night bed for free. Four seasons, Ritz, Peninsula always offering complimentary rollaway bed even I didn’t book from FHR. I will try in-room dinning tomorrow and I hope it is good. Read less

There isn't a better in room experience in the world... I used to think the Ritz in Hong Kong, Hoshinoya Tokyo and Four Seasons properties in major cities were my favorite. Equinox Hotel is far and away the most restorative and peaceful in room and sleep experience. For a major metro hotel this is absolutely the best.

My wife and I stayed three days at the Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards, an it was a great experience! The hotel is obviously quite new, and it was amazing. The people at the front desk made us feel home right away. We got a room upgrade, and got what I believe is called a Skyline Room. The room was very elegant and spacious. The bed was great, and so was the bed linen. It felt new and crispy. We had enough room to stash away our luggage, and that always makes it feel less of a travel and more of home. We tried out the their SPA. Both of us had the infra red sauna, and my wife tried a drip treatment. She was a little jet lagged, but it all went away after the drip treatment. I went for a swim in the outdoor, but heated lap pool. The pool was long enough to actually get some exercise out of it. We ate at the restaurant, Electric Lemon, and the food was great. The location of the hotel is perfect to check out the new Hudson Yards. We walked the High Line which is located right by the hotel, and which is a great thing to do in NYC. It took us right down to Chelsea Market. The hotel staff looked out for our luggage the day we checked out, so that we could enjoy more of what the area has to offer. All in all a great experience which is recomended. Read less

Beautiful suite, amazing service and I really appreciated the wet bar. Dead quiet. This is the only place to stay in New York. Walk out the door and take a great walk on the High Line. Also the gym and sauna!
