The room was great. Ammenities were perfect. They thought of everything. I had everythingI needed. Needs a softer more cozy mattress. Charging $10 service fee for in-room delivery is a bit much. My overall stay was really good. I would stay there again.

Spectacular new hotel on the NYC scene. Equinox is meticulously appointed with great attention to detail. Our one bedroom suite with river view was the most spacious hotel room we've ever had in the City. The bathroom was sumptuous with large shower and separate water closet. The dressing area was equally grand with floor-to-ceiling views south to Freedom Tower. My wife gushed over the steamer for clothes and Dyson hair dryer. The staff could not have been more professional. Andrew, in particular, was super helpful with reservations. In-room dining was prompt and courteous. The restaurant and bar, while pricey, were also top notch. Overall a fantastic experience and we will return. Read less

The staff was great and accommodating, location is prime, and room was a generous size. However the elevator seemed to be a big problem for myself and many of the guests. There are two elevators you must traverse to get from ground floor to room. The wait time was long and on multiple occasions I saw people wait for the next one as the elevator was already jammed tight with people. The pool and gym were overcrowded as well. I believe people with equinox memberships are able to use the hotel facilities which make it less of an exclusive gym even though you are paying exclusive prices for the room. They were also doing construction to the hotel about a few floors below me outside on a terrace and seemed to start at 6 or 7am on a Saturday morning. I understand construction is necessary at times but in a hotel setting I would avoid loud hammering work on a weekend morning. Read less
