Rooms were hip, updated and spacious. The staff was like family and super helpful. Nice to have a little store in the lobby for some munchies and some wine. There was some construction going on when were were there and without hesitation they moved us to a quieter room.

Booked this hotel through Virgin Holidays not much in their brochure so didn’t know what to expect. We paid for upgraded room which was well worth the extra $35 a night. Room spacious, clean and well stocked. Hotel staff all really friendly especially Samual and the lady who checked us in (whom I couldn’t quite see her name sorry) Hotel is an ideal location for Times Square, Fifth Avenue and loads other shopping areas. Subway round the corner taking you downtown and uptown. Sightseeing bus stopped on our street which was handy. Wine hour each night at 5-6 serving red, white and lemonade all really nice. The only down fall was there is no restaurant. They do serve a continental breakfast in the club room which is 17.95 +tax if you have room only. But Starbucks, McDonald’s and other restaurants are nearby so no hardship. All in all it was a nice place to stay and good value for money. We would both return. Read less

I was informed when I booked my room of the total charge. But then after I checked in the hotel added another $44 per night a service fee that was not mentioned at the time of booking. This is completely dishonest and a really deceptive way to treat guests. Also, my room was freezing no matter how high I turned up the thermostat, all because of… Read more

This is completely dishonest and a really deceptive way to treat guests. Also, my room was freezing no matter how high I turned up the thermostat, all because of the draft from the window. I thought the room was pleasant enough, but I won't return to this hotel. Read less

The staff was friendly and helpful. the room could have been better maintained. Half of the lights were not plugged in and had no viable means to do so. The room was drafty through the windows which made the overall temperature of the room on the cool side.
