This is not the Palm Springs experience. Staff are arrogant. Views over the car park. Not as advertised on the website. Wish I had not chosen this hotel. Service is very poor.

First time in Palm Springs and won't be the last. Staying here is one of the reasons. We had an amazing suite and the staff all around were great. We were welcomed warmly as a first-time guest and the valets were friendly and fast. Next time, I'd like to try the onsite dining options.

They create a seamless experience from start to finish. We worked with their team to host a few of our pre-wedding events here and they're our favorite "vendor" from the weekend. Collaborative, helpful, and thoughtful -- I adore their team. Plus, the location is unbeatable! Heart of downtown without feeling chaotic or busy. You get the great location with elevated bars, restaurants, and services tucked away at the hotel. Worth every single penny in our eyes. Read less

My husband, sister-in-law and I stayed here for five nights during our first visit to Palm Springs. The location was extremely convenient. We were close to the art museum, lots of great restaurants and shops, and the Thursday evening street fair. It was nice to leave our vehicle where it was and simply walk to a restaurant or shop. We paid extra for a nice view of the mountains. We were able to access our vehicle in the street-level valet parking lot next to the hotel in case we wanted to add or remove something. The Four Saints restaurant on the roof was pricey but quite good; we only ate there once since we had booked reservations at some excellent restaurants in Palm Springs. We had one mediocre breakfast at the limited-choice, counter-order Juniper Table cafe on the first floor; again, there are much better breakfast restaurants nearby; eg L’Atelier. The high-ceilinged hotel lobby offered complimentary coffee in the morning, and was a good place to meet up and enjoy the fireplace. The lobby also offered a free happy hour of wine or beer hosted by a server at a separate temporary table but offered no nonalcoholic beverages at that table. On our first night I tried to get a nonalcoholic beverage at the nearby small lobby pay-bar during happy hour but the bartender for the pay-bar left around 4:45 and didn’t come back for roughly 10 minutes. I went to the concierge and asked her to locate a bartender but by the time we turned around the bartender had returned. The concierge told the bartender not to charge me for my club soda. That night I was very disappointed at the poor pay-bar service during the free wine-beer happy hour. My two companions were seated and enjoying their drinks while I had to chase down a nonalcoholic drink. That only happened once, and on other nights the pay-bar was staffed so I could order a beverage. As another issue, there is no easy way to find the lobby when you descend at least one of elevators; I ended up exiting the hotel and walking to the front door. I think it is a plus that the rooftop pool is fairly small, because it was not overrun with children and noisy pool patrons. There are plenty of rooftop comfortable chairs and chaise lounges. We never used the pool or lounge chairs. One night we visited the small rooftop High Bar and enjoyed the view and fire pit. All in all I think this hotel is a very good place to stay when in Palm Springs. Read less

A great location and clean pleasant rooms with comfortable bedding. But very noisy. The sounds from out in the hall, rooms above and beside, and the outdoors were all very loud and woke me up multiple times a night. It sounded like the room above mine was moving furniture and dropping things all night long. Especially irritating was the sound of delivery trucks beeping while backing up outside my 3rd floor window at 5am. The idea of an afternoon nap was impossible. I was hoping for some sound sleep and deep rest while visiting; sadly that was not to happen. Read less
