This is a great spot. They did a great job and super laid back which I like in a resort. The restaurant and other areas including the outdoor dining is an amazing upgrade and this spot is going to be super busy for locals for a night out as well as out-of-towners. I think Mission Bay is going to a big winner when this Covid crap is done!!!

This was an anniversary trip for my husband and I (20 years). This was our first rio since the pandemic and I have to say we are beyond happy! We will be staying at Mission Bay annually, if not no-annually! We stayed in a King Villa Bayview room. #232 to be exact and it was beyond our dreams. We were nervous at first of privacy but it’s just right, close to the bay but not where you’re bothered by the public boardwalk. From check-in...actually from before we officially booked the front desk staff answers my endless questions. Check-in was fantastic Covewood, while a little pricey was worth it —you must try their Pomegranate Mojito! Renting a boat was a breeze and worth it! We had a blast. Last but certainly not least, what made our trip great to EXTRAORDINARY was the concierge Gordie and the cabana gal Lexie, WOW just WOW — MADE our trip! If you would look up customer service in the dictionary you would see their faces. They made us feel as if we were the only customers on property (even though there were countless others!). The hotel is lovely but because of them without a doubt we will be back every year. See you soon Mission Bay Resort! Read less

This place has rooms for almost $400 a night that you can't even tell you are in Southern California. In most places it is a pond view at about $200 a night. There is nothing special about the rooms and not much included.
