The hotel

Get the true Fisherman’s Wharf experience at this fashionable hotel. Hyatt Centric's red-brick design fits in well with its surroundings, and its arched windows frame famous attractions like Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, and The Embarcadero. Step inside and see its exposed brick and industrial accessories, but with a chic ‘seaside hotel’ twist. For a treat, grab your towel and head to the courtyard pool and whirlpool. Loved staying there! Rooms were clean, staff super friendly and just overall vibe was pleasing. I love the decor and the modern feel of the rooms. Also beds are super comfortable. Maintenance above and beyond. This was my second stay in this location and I highly recommend it.

They they catch for a wifi service that does not work so if you have kids, be prepared to use your phone to entertain them you hopefully you have a 5G service, that was the only way I was able to stream movies for my kids

We loved staying in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf at such a homely and comfortable location. We loved staying in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf at such a homely and comfortable location. We booked two King connecting rooms (travelling with teenagers) and the rooms were very clean, modern, lots of light and space for our family of 4. Walking distance to all the fun stuff (Pier 39, Ghirardelli square & park, other piers including Market, Alcatraz landing etc.) and necessary stuff (Trader Joe's, Walgreens and Starbucks around the corner). The valet parking that was included in our rate was very worthwhile as we realized cars parked in the area were being vandalized daily but we could rest assured ours was safe and the valet service was excellent as was the rest of the service. Very friendly staff throughout our stay. We were close to the Golden Gate bridge and highways which allowed for easy access to surrounding daytrips (Berkeley, Sausalito, Muir Woods). Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay to anyone vacationing in the area. Read less

Loved everything about this hotel. The location was only two short blocks to Fisherman's Wharf. The decor is elegant but simple. The room was nice and spacious and the view of the city was great. The bed was so comfortable. We will stay at this hotel every time we come to San Francisco. No doubt about it.

My stay was disappointing to say the least. I’m glad I did not stay longer than 2 nights. If I had my way it would’ve been no nights. The website and app are deceiving when it describes paying more for a room with a “North Point Street View” and has a picture of a lovely view. I purchased it as an upgrade via the email Hyatt sent to me prior to checking in. I only purchased the upgrade because it specifically said a corner room with the view. I even specified in the comment section- if not a corner room then I don’t want the upgrade. Needless to say, I did not get a corner room, I got a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the street, front entrance, and holiday inn. I’m a discoverist level Hyatt member.. and did not get the daily water nor was I told I would be given access to the Premium WiFi. The staff were underwhelming welcoming. My POV of their customer service “there just there to do a job and collect a paycheck” nothing above and beyond- just there. One positive is the location, it’s walking distance to fisherman’s wharf and ghardelli plaza area. I’ve stayed at several Hyatts and I will not be staying at this one again. Read less
