Had a great stay and loved the location to everything. Rooms were clean and updated. Very quiet! Beds were comfy and pillows were great. I went for a run to the Golden Gate Bridge and through the Presidio. Beautiful trails and parks! Had Whole Foods just around the corner for lunch. Enjoyed the stay.

Did not get to stay in San Francisco as we originally had planned. This is usually our "Go To Hotel" but not his time. JP Morgan Chase is in town for a convention and the nightly room frate is more than $600 per night at this Holiday Inn. We are just tourists trying to enjoy our California vacation. We picked up our hire car and drove from the airport to this hotel in rush hour traffic. The hotel was easy to find and had a good car park. The route from the car park into the hotel was strange but checkin was great. We had a room on the 20th floor that had a double aspect view. From here we could see the bridge and Alcatraz island. The buffet breakfast was reasonable and the location of the hotel was central for our plans. All in all I was happy with my stay here and would consider staying here again. Read less

Returned at 4.00 to be given a room my friend was already checked into then was allocated another room. Went to the room to find it had not been cleaned from previous guests, called reception and was asked to return to reception. Finally we were given a room which had been cleaned to say I am unimpressed by this hotel is an understatement. As we are traveling I went to use the laundry to find that only one dryer is working, no good review from me so far. Read less

I've stayed here numerous times. I've had small inconvenience almost every time - remote not working, torn lampshade, noisy AC - not a big deal. This time, there was a problem and it was a big deal. I've stayed here numerous times. I've had small inconvenience almost every time - remote not working, torn lampshade, noisy AC - not a big deal. This time, there was a problem and it was a big deal. My room was next to/behind the elevators. Every time the elevator was in use, it sounded like airport noise of jets landing or take-off. Finally, at 5:00 a.m., I called the front desk. Too noisy - couldn't sleep. Was pretty upset paying $275 per night for a room that should be for housekeeping or storage, not for guests. I was told there were no rooms available but they would move me in the late morning, and to leave my bags packed and they would move everything. I packed my bags. Then went to the lobby for a few hours until my work meetings started which was not easy without any sleep. did that. Returning to the hotel, I went to get new room key. There is no record or note for a room change for me. Hmmm...what's going on here? So they make fast arrangements to have my bags moved. I politely decline the assistance, asked for the new room key, and I'm able to move my belongings to the new room. Later I come down to talk to front desk, explain the situation, and requested to have a credit or refund for the previous night's stay. They decline, saying I got a "run of the house" room, whatever that means. I talk to a manager, the response was, "too bad". Hard to believe this response. I guess when the hotel is full, they have more important things on their agenda. I paid $275+ to be kept awake all night and they think that's okay. Or that's "too bad". Be carfeful of any room ending in "07". Personally, I'm taking my business elsewhere after this experience. Read less
