I had high expectations of this hotel. When I walked in to the hotel I was surprised to see the lobby/front desk area was under construction - everything was covered in plastic and dusty. No bar, no decor - a folding table with two staff standing there for check-in. They asked me how many times I wanted my room cleaned - I understand we are in a pandemic, but I think having a clean room, clean towels daily was/is important - so I told them everyday, they gave me a shocked look - I was staying four days, and told them at least clean towels daily. I asked for a front street facing room - they said for the rate I paid I couldn't have that, but I could up-grade the room, which I did - still didn't get a front facing room, my room faced the side alley where you could see the homeless people shooting up drugs. Upon getting to the room, the first thing I noticed was the stale smell, okay - turn on the a/c and see how it airs out... noticed the dusty night stands... okay tomorrow they will clean and vacuum the room. Exhausted took a shower and went to bed. The next day after getting back to the room after a long day, I noticed the room wasn't cleaned, no fresh towels, no dusting was done. I called the front desk and told them - the women apologized and said it was too late to have the room clean, but she could have fresh towels sent up. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable and sank in the middle. The comforter was torn on the edges. Overall it was way over priced for what they offered - no place to have a sit down breakfast at. The neighborhood was full of homeless right in front of the hotel. You have to ring a door bell to have them let you in. I have no plans to come back to this hotel. Read less

I have stayed there once before for a business visit and liked how clean the rooms were. Front desk staff is very professional and very accommodating. When my business trip came up again, I didn't hesitate to book it again.

We had a staycation in the City for our anniversary. Their lounge was a lot of fun, the staff are wonderful people and go above & beyond expectations, and their electric scooters were in good shape! So glad we stayed here!

We have been to the Cavalier Restaurant twice for late, al fresco-type lunches, and enjoyed both experiences immensely. Overall, the Zetta is just a cool place to stay: Hip without being "too cool," refined without being ostentatious. And the location, again, is excellent.
