Location is excellent room was up to Our standards and front desk very nice and helpful. Cool Art Deco/old Hollywood feel to the aesthetic. It seems to be an old building but they’ve done a good job of renovating. Bathrooms were great which is my biggest priority.

They also did a better price than the one on booking platforms. The room we got was clean and very comfortable. They have a good selection of food for breakfast. After We traveled to L.A. and then back to San Francisco to get your flight home and ended up staying there a second time. The reception staff kept offering tips for places to see and answering our questions about the city. If we come back to S.F., we’ll try to stay there again! I totally recommend it. Read less

No complaints in regards to the hotel however the location was the only downside. The hotel was situated at the edge of the tenderloin district which is known for being full of homeless people. Absolutely no problems by day. However by night a lot of drug users and homeless people seem to gather nearby and made us feel very unsafe! Although not on any occasion did anyone approach us, they kept themselves to themselves. Overall I would have stayed in a hotel closer to the coast.. i.e Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf. I would rate the hotel 3/5. Read less

All I can say is the hotel is clean & the staff friendly. The room was small & hot Aircon non existent so you have to open the window, homeless shout & fight until 5am & even with the earplugs provided you will not sleep & we were on the top floor!
