W San Francisco

Staying at the W Hotel in San Francisco was an exceptional experience, especially notable as we celebrated our son’s first birthday. Jeff, the General Manager, and his team made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Jeff personally made us feel welcome and went the extra mile by arranging a crib in our room for our son, turning our accommodation into a cozy retreat for our family. He also recommended a fantastic local coffee spot called Sana, just a short walk from the hotel, where we enjoyed some of the best coffee in the city. This recommendation was particularly appreciated as it added a local flavor to our visit and was a great spot to start our mornings before heading out. The location of the W Hotel could not have been more convenient. Being able to walk to essential amenities like Target and Trader Joe’s was a tremendous advantage, allowing us to easily pick up any necessities for our son and ourselves without the hassle of long commutes or transportation. The view from our room was breathtaking, providing a stunning panorama of the San Francisco skyline that made our celebration even more special. The hotel’s proximity to child-friendly attractions also made our stay stress-free and fun. The entire team, from the valets to housekeeping, was incredibly accommodating, helping with everything from stroller management to ensuring our room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The personalized service and attentiveness we received, made our son’s first birthday not just a celebration, but a wonderfully joyous family experience we’ll always remember. I loved so many aspects of this property. While the room was the usual high standard of a W, my favorite features were the downstairs bar, and the accessible location in the heart of the city. The guest is close to so many landmarks in an easy walking distance. I love to walk in cities, and San Francisco offers ideal weather to do so. Public transportation was also easy to find, either by bus, BART or Cable Car. Ubers were also plentiful and reasonable in price. Read less

Our experience at this hotel was one that we’ll never forget.

 When I was looking to book a hotel in SF I was looking for the best deal, aesthetics and great service. We were celebrating a birthday and being tourists. We had a slight mishap in the beginning when I called the hotel directly to inquired about their offers. Then, I talked to Gabriella (Director of W) and Jeff ( their General Manager), whom not only apologized for my experienced, but took the time to genuinely listen. So I decided to go ahead and booked my stay at the W San Francisco and I’m 100% glad I did. They made our stay special and memorable. I was very impressed with Gabriella’s hospitality and I must say that this hotel is in great hands under the leadership of their new General Manager, Jeff. 

 The location is safe, centrally located around museums, parks, shopping, restaurants, and it is next to the Moscone Center. 

 Great deal: I highly recommend you book directly with the hotel by visiting their website and looking at their offers. The hotel offers premium amenities and additional perks that make it an absolute deal. Aesthetics and Great Service. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff. I had dinner with a couple of friends at their Living Room bar and the food was exquisite. Evelyn served us and she was engaging and incredible. My family had brunch both days at their Trace restaurant and they raved about their Chilaquiles and Trace Signature Omelet.

 We stayed on the 28th floor. The Fantastic Suite was unbelievable! The panoramic views from our rooms were indeed breathtaking. The room is well equipped. The bed was so big and comfortable. The room was spacious and PERFECT! Also, the fabulous double had amazing panoramic views and the beds were so comfy. They felt luxurious. We couldn’t have slept better. 

The hotel lobby is colorful. Ambiance is calm and elegant. The DJ was playing Andro Beats music. They also have a full work out gym on the 4th floor. 

 The front desk team were welcoming. Tyler did an amazing job in greeting us in. JP was also welcoming. A shout out to Josh for being attentive and hospitable. Thank you Kyle for helping get our tickets together and for the coloring books and crayons for my nephews. I had a question about my final bill and many thanks to Stella. She was able to answered my question in detailed. 

 THANK YOU, Jeff ( GM), to you and your team for providing us with an unforgettable experience. We loved the Champagne Bottle with Chocolate covered Strawberries. The boys loved their time playing at the Exploratorium. They were so happy taking pictures of their experIence in SF with their W San Francisco disposable cameras. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend for anyone to stay here and book directly with the hotel. W San Francisco is a remarkable place! Read less
