I live in Seattle but wanted to get away from the house for a few days in this vacationless year. I have stayed at Grand Hyatt Seattle before but this was the first time during the pandemic. I felt very safe during the entire stay. Sanitizer stations were plentiful and the elevators were marked with socially-distanced circles to stand in, although I was always the only one in the elevator. I stayed in one of the Emerald Suites, which had a view of Pike Place Market and the water; I could see the ferries going back and forth. The person that checked me in, Nicole, was personable and helpful. The only downside was breakfast. My stay included lounge access, and in normal times the lounge serves a great breakfast. But because of the pandemic, I was given a menu to order a free breakfast from Andare, the restaurant in the Hyatt Regency, which is a few blocks away. The oatmeal was instant and the other options were too heavy for my taste. So I had instant oatmeal and a piece of fruit each day. Speaking of food, Nordstroms is just 2 blocks away and has a restaurant on the bottom level and on the 4th floor that are excellent. Take-out only at the time I am writing this. I had an Asian Wild Salmon salad that was delicious. Also, I ordered several meals from Uber Eats that delivered right to my room. I look forward to my next stay. You can't beat the location, the staff takes good care of you, and the views are great. Read less

I have been to so many hotels and this is my favorite one. My boyfriend and I go there to celebrate our anniversary and they are able to get us the same room plus treats. They do such a good job at making you feel welcomed and make sure you are comfortable. I also love the rooms and the views of seattle.

We loved our stay here. The hotel staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is very attractive and clean. I have never been so pleased with the friendliness of the staff. Truly they made this experience wonderful.

All I wanted was a brew of the water for my 40th Birthday. Grand Hyatt exceeded my expectations. The views from the King Corner Suit on the 26th floor was stunning. The tub was amazing and the staff was friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking.

The hotel ambiance and room decor was better than expected. However there were a few things that I believe Hyatt can do better on. The bed did not have an encasement to prevent bed bugs. The hotel ambiance and room decor was better than expected. However there were a few things that I believe Hyatt can do better on. The bed did not have an encasement to prevent bed bugs. The mattress topper looked like it had not been replaced from the previous guest, as had hair on it. The interactive media center was not responsive, and lagged. The rooms do come with a refrigerator however, no microwave. I believe they can do better, especially for the cost of stay. Read less
