Sandals Dunn's River provided a great week of rest and relaxation. The remodeled property is beautiful, clean, and modern. There are plenty of activities each day that appeal to athletes, crafters, and chillers. We did several of each while heavily attending chilling out sessions:):) Shantel and Nichole provided us with an amazing CBD oil message that worked out all of the work world kinks! This was my husband and I's 13th trip to a Sandals property, and we booked next year's trip before we left. We are working closely with GM Deryk Meany and Environment, Health & Safety manager Shanice Hinds to streamline the care of the cats on resort. Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma has an exemplary feline program and we know Sandals prides itself on consistent excellence throughout all of its properties. Bringing this system to Dunn's River will only elevate the experience for the guests and cats alike. We are also working on transporting three of the tiger kittens back to the US if anyone is willing to be an escort and have a kitten in a carrier under the seat in front of you on your flight home from Ochi or MoBay. We are working in conjunction with the MoBay Animal Haven that coordinates these transports. This beautiful resort is quickly becoming one of our favorite Sandals properties! Deryk Meany & Melissa Clark did an outstanding job of putting together an incredible Welcome Back Week for everyone! From our first stop at Club Sandals with Stacy-Ann, to the wonderful staff at Loyalty, Rasheena & Tre’San, who made sure our Travertine Beachfront room was amazing. The view was spectacular and we could even see the fantastic nightly entertainment from our balcony! John at the sushi restaurant “Hanami” makes the more mouth watering dishes! Clayton at Cascana, the Italian restaurant recommended the Lasagna & Chicken Alfreto - simply delicious! The Blum coffee shop is a great place to start your day with some delicious Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee! At the end of the day don’t forget to go to The Rum Bar! The food, drinks and entertainment are not to be missed! For a really relaxing time, the Red Lane Spa is the place! Decoda had the most magic fingers and almost put me to sleep!! We are scuba divers and the dive team (Marvin, Mike, Brian Bethany & Marlin) are just the best! We went to many different dive sites and they were so helpful to everyone. The hospitality at Dunn’s was nothing short of amazing! There was always a “good morning” or “how is your stay so far” With a smile. A shout out to several that made our stay extra special. Our number one- Conrad aka Kelsie. His outgoing personality and welcoming smile stood out to me the most. He always made sure we were good and hung out with us several days. He’s one that I’d want on my team as he goes above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good time. He made our entire week memorable and was a crowd favorite. Yanai was another that we enjoyed spending time with- she was the sweetest and always enjoyed seeing her smiling face everyday. Her gambling skills are on point and we went broke 😉 The ENTIRE rum bar team knows how to throw a party. THEIR ENERGY WAS NEXT LEVEL. The dance off between staff was a crowd pleaser and the espresso martinis were the BEST! Richard-you have our vote for winning the dance off. The food was delicious and staff was always very welcoming. You never went hungry. Italian and sushi were our favorites but we never once had a bad meal. Your can’t forget the afternoon pizza, ahi tuna nachos, and Jamaica patty’s!! The beach is nice-on the smaller side but never crowded and had beautiful water. Slightly rocky in the first part of the ocean but then it’s sand. It was a little windy when we were there but a perfect balance of breeze and temps! Chairs were hard to come by but not a huge deal to us because we were in the pool or ocean majority of the time. The animal lover that I am brings me to one thing I wish this resort would provide. Cats are there to help with rodent control and they do that, along with the love,treats and food by the guests. they bring joy for us animal lovers while on vacation and we want to leave knowing they are cared for by sandals. please consider providing cat colonies and stations with food/water and properly vet the cats so they do not continue to reproduce or risk transferring sickness and passing to other cats. The last thing guests want to see is sick cats while enjoying paradise. (This wasn’t the case at Dunn’s when we went but only a matter of time unless things change. I’ve been told each gym at sandals makes that decision. Love the animals like you love the guests the Jamaican way! I enjoyed spending the evenings with the 3 striped tiger cats and overall our trip was amazing with only the one minor concern..but animals will always win my heart over! The hard work the entire staff does everyday does not go unnoticed and we are forever grateful for your amazing hospitality!! Until next time Jamaica! Read less

The resort was new, modern, and very clean. The size of it made it so nice and not overwhelming with much to do. We laid on the beds by the pool everyday and early enough to enjoy the live performers they had each morning (one of my favorite touches). Out stay didn’t go without a couple of small flaws, but after a 10 day long trip what can you expect? The staff made up for it. Aldra, Romaine, & Conrad were a couple of people who made our stay that much better. They really made you feel at home & like family. I miss their faces already. We loved Dunns River and absolutely can see us coming back in the future. Read less
