Me and my wife had a wonderful time. We wanted to come here, being that it was a recently opened Sandals. Our favorite entertainment guy was Adrian! He really made the trip a whole vibe. I will say that the entertainment team made sure everyone had a blast and worked very hard to get everyone out of their shells. Adrian on the entertainment team was second to none!! Our trip was absolutely phenomenal. There was never a dull moment when he, Jonte, Ulrica, and Kysha. When I tell you they are second to none I mean it! You are bound to have an amazing time if they are around! Honestly the people are will put a smile on your face just when they speak to you!! As this was the soft opening, there were a few problems with our room, but management and their teams took care of me and my wife as we were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. It was about a 30 to 40 minute drive to the property from the airport and upon arrival you are welcomed with a welcoming song and personally walked to the club area where details of your stay are review before going to your room. We upgraded and that was where we had a problem which is the only reason the rating isn't a 5, but I will not spend time on that as the resort and the staff here are amazing. As you walk through this gorgeous property you will hear sounds of the Caribbean vibes, see blue water both at the pools and beach and quickly forget about the fast pace of home instantly. As this is the soft opening there was still some landscaping going on, I would like to thank and appreciate the landscaping crews and designer. This place is beautiful and once the flowers, plants and Palms are in full bloom Sandals Saint Vincent will be the Jewel of the Caribbean. Highlights of the trip, seeing Butlers Kervin and Kerry from Sandals Grenada, although we didn't have Bulter service this trip they would check on us to ensure our trip was going as planned. I would suggest you request Kervin or Kerry if you're having the Butler service, they will take your stay to the next level. I have always been interested in scuba diving, so I took a stroll by the dive shop and spoke with Ken. Ken told me to come back the next day and they could get me scuba certified and ready to dive the next day. The next day I went back, and they enrolled me in PADI training. Once I was done with the lesson training Vanessa took me under her wing to get me pool and open water certified. I can't put into words how comfortable Vanessa made me feel during pool and open water dive training. I will be forever in deeded to Vanessa for her patience and teaching skills. I am certified and will continue dive because of her. The boat crew Keyon, Domonique and Captain where awesome as will. As I was diving, wifey was enjoying the spa and pools, she says after her treatments her skin had never been so soft. On one of our dives, another diver caught a few Lionfish, Chef Zenn and Scrimshaw was so gracious to prepare the fish for our 13-year anniversary dinner at Scrimhaw. Thanks, Stehpen, for making this happen. Every restaurant and bar me and the wife went to, the service and food was on point. Each morning for breakfast at Sora, Akeelah would greet us with a beautiful smile and ensure we wanted for nothing. I can't remember the two young ladies' names at the rum bar, but they ensure we had good Rum cocktail each night. I would be remised if I didn't mention Kandice the manager over the beach bar. As this was the soft opening this particular bar was up and running. A few days later I as able to enjoy the first beer at this bar all due to Kandice. This property has everything you need you want have to the leave the property if you don't want to but when visiting islands me and the wife like to venture out and see what the locals are doing. One day we walked across to Buccament beach and ran across a place called Shekas, where we had a few beverages and a light dinner which was great. We even meet Sheka what a great vibe away from the resort. All in all, once the soft open is over this place will be tremendous and we plan on retuning. We had such an amazing time. The resort is beautiful the pools were great and the ocean calm and relaxing. The staff were unbelievable so friendly and accommodating. Buccan is a must. Farm to table family style of local cuisine. The food was amazing but the experience was even better. Recommend going at the start of your trip to meet some of the other vacationers. But you don’t want to miss this restaurant such a great way to connect with the culture of such a beautiful island. (I am a pretty picky eater and I loved it!) We go to a new location every vacation but we both agreed this is one we will go back to we had such a good time. Read less
