The hotel

Where is it

Located between the Caribbean Sea and the Lagoon of Bahia Petempich in the Yucatan Peninsula. Only 15 miles away from South Cancun. 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

As a warning, if you are a late night person, there's not much to do after 10/11pm. However, we still had fun and would come back anytime! Read less

My husband and I recently spent an amazing week at Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa. We stayed in an oceanfront junior swim-up suite and our room with pool was incredible! It was so nice to swim and relax while looking at the beach and ocean. As an added bonus, we received service from the beach servers and I want to give a major shout out to Charly Boy! He was the best server ever! He was always checking in to see if we needed drinks or were hungry for a pizza. He even brought us drinks without us having to order them. And always with a warm smile. While we enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants we went to, including the buffet, the Mexican restaurant Piquante was our favourite. To start off, Isabel, the hostess, greeted us warmly. The food and atmosphere were fantastic and the service was top notch. We ate there twice and our two servers Rodrigo and Lisbin were very friendly. And both times the manager Silvio came by to make sure everything was good. That was very appreciated. I’d also like to acknowledge Pasquale at Spoon, David at Spumante, Dimes at Silk City, and David and Alberto at Rosewater. The beach wasn’t the best ever but we knew that going in and it didn’t bother us at all. We went for a walk every day and I just want to mention that there are some small pointy pieces of driftwood sticking out so you need to watch where you’re going. Otherwise you could really cut your foot. But the walks were very nice, especially in the mornings before it got too hot. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back here! We truly enjoyed this resort. Luis at the preferred lounge was amazing! Always a smile and makes the best drinks!!! Don’t miss out seeing him! Best experience at an all inclusive we have had by far! 10/10!!!! So happy with our decision to book at Secrets!
