The hotel

Where is it

Situated on Meedhuffushi Island in the South Nilandhe Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 35 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

All-Inclusive includes: breakfast at Aqua Restaurant. Lunch at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Daily afternoon tea. Dinner at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Unlimited soft drinks, tea and coffee; draught beer, selected spirits, house wine, and selection of cocktails. Complimentary mini bar replenished once daily. Beach Villas with Pool are located on the beach with a private pool, swinging sofa on the beach, outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Reef Villas are overwater villas featuring with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Reef Villas are the same as above, facing in the direction of the sunset.

Aqua Villas with Pool are overwater villas featuring a private pool and overwater hammock, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Water Villas with Pool feature a private infinity edge swimming pool on an oversized sun deck, ocean views and steps down to the lagoon. With 1 king-size bed, separate lounge area and a bathroom with separate shower, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Two Bedroom Water Villa with Pool - situated at the end of the overwater jetty, features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room with dining area. Plus outside features a private pool, daybed, loungers and dining table.

Just returned from 10 days. This resort is extremely special and most of what makes it so is the staff. Everyone has a smile on their face and you truly know that they want to make your holiday very special. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s a simply stunning and so well cared for resort. Gardeners,cleaners. reception staff, restaurant , bar staff and chefs all make a fabulous team to ensure a memorable stay. They treat you like friends and it was so sad to leave. We did start our stay with an issue but this was dealt with by Muhammad Shanzoom in an exemplary way and we had a truly memorable holiday. He kept in contact throughout our stay and for this we were extremely grateful. Aqua is great! Lots of interesting and varied dishes. Staff are all amazing. We booked to eat at Spice and Well Done. Both great experiences and added a little variation to Aqua from time to time. We used the App for reservations and other info and found it very good. We were very fortunate to stay in the 2 bedroom villa over the water. Wow! What an experience that was. I cannot begin to describe how amazing it was. Having said that all the villas and beach bungalows are lovely. It is worth mentioning that Nautilus has changed position temporarily we understand. It is currently at the tip of the island close to 105 /106 so it may be worth considering this when making your accommodation choice. I can highly recommend Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. Read less

Recommend 100%, villas are great, staff is always smiling, cant say even one bad thing about the place. The villa attendant Mathi is a true artist when it comes to bed decoration. Our guide Niyaaf was very helpful throughout the entire stay.

Our Villa Attendant was brilliant & made sure rooms were immaculately cleaned, fresh towels, restocked minibar & coffee etc. Even tucked our phone charger cableunder pillow for us in the evening. His name was Arun & we cannot praise him enough. We had a wonderful private cinema experience on the beach, highly recommend this & the Well Done restaurant & Spice gave us fantastic food.
