Stayed here as two couples for 5 nights, from beginning to end the service was superb. Found all the hotel staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Attiko is a must visit for dinner, really nice vibe and delicious food. Hotel pool is really beautiful, not a lot of sunbeds so make sure you are there early to secure some. We stayed in the King Sea View room, probably the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in - big shower/bathtub, great amenities, bed huge and comfy and the small bar area is a great touch! The cleaning team really go to extra lengths when sprucing up your room, it was really appreciated and definitely not missed. Small things as some other reviews have mentioned work is going on outside and they do start reasonably early/there is a club that goes on until quite late (bring earplugs if you aren’t a great sleeper). What a hotel! As soon as we entered we were blown away by the interior, which is stunning throughout. I have never experienced such friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble at this hotel, we didn't encounter one member of staff who fell below excellent levels of service and we genuinely felt like the most important guests in the hotel - despite being in a mid-level room and not paying a fortune. Our room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, pool area was small but luxurious, food at breakfast and lunch was fabulous. Location was perfect for us, we took the Lime scooters down to the marina for a spin and to JBR The Walk which we really enjoyed, and would recommend. So glad we chose not to stay on the Palm as it's a real faf to get to and from places if you want to explore Dubai during your trip. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. We stayed at 3 hotels during our time in Dubai and my husband and I both wished we had just booked the W for the whole stay. The other 2 hotels were up in the centre and didn't come close in terms of staff friendliness (for reference - The Taj Dubai and Emirates Towers, both nice, but really no comparison) We will certainly be back to this hotel on any future trips and have been recommending it to friends and family since our return. To address the elephant in the room - yes there is some construction noise. We were put in a high room on the same side as the neighbouring construction site and slept fine. To be fair, there don't seem to be many places in Dubai that wouldn't be affected by some construction noise. It was too loud to enjoy sitting out on the balcony really, but we don't tend to do that anyway. We didn't notice it at breakfast or around the pool and it really didn't affect our stay. I'm always a bit suspicious of reviews that shout out members of staff, but I must mention Asila at breakfast who was just so incredibly friendly and helpful and made a real difference to our holiday.
