The Yard House restaurant is convenient and tasty. The location can't be beat bc we walked to all sorts of places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return anytime! Read less

I went to the room and it sounded like jack hammers going off in the room. There was a letter on hotel letterhead in the room. It informed me that the water was likely to be shut off during construction and suggested I try the gym on another floor when it goes off. Then at bedtime the AC sounded like a plane was landing in the room During the night the AC went off. Did not sleep at all. Checked out and went to valet to get my car. No valet. Waited in line at front desk to be told, "Oh, it's a little confusing but you have to go to the back of the hotel for the car valet." And water was in the room with a big note saying it was $4 . What a joke. I've traveled a lot and this was the worst hotel. Read less

Also needed to use restroom & there was one in checking lobby & we could not use it as it need a hotel key. Asked concierge Tim for key & explained my situation & told me & my 10 year old to go down hall & use the public restroom. I had all my belongings & 2 young children with me & explained why it would be easier to use close restroom. Talked to manager at check in - man with glasses think his name might be Michael & he was not accommodating but finally allowed us into that restroom. Also while approaching the valet he told me since I had a LS Lexus that I would have to pay an additional $45 per night as my car was too large. Told him that I have been going to this hotel over the past 10 years & was never told that nor charged. then going into another room for an additional 2 nights. We checked into the Marriott Copley Place. Easy check-in process. This hotel is currently under renovation. We had read reviews on this and requested in advance a renovated room. The floor we were placed on still smelled like new carpet. Everything looked new and clean. We threw our bags in our room and went out to tour the city. Location is excellent. Train stop is through the attached mall. Walking distance to so much. We returned in the evening and pulled back the bed to find a chunk of hair. Not ours, obviously. It was late and we were tired but I wasn't sleeping on a bed where I just saw that blob of hair. In addition, there was a glow ring on the floor next to the bed. I can see how that was missed. We called front desk and they gave us another room on the same floor. Within 2 minutes security was at our room with our new keys. We moved around the corner to our new room which had no issues. Breakfast was very good with omelet and waffle station. All staff was extremely nice and helpful. As mentioned, location is excellent. Common areas were clean and updated. Only negative was the concierge lounge was not open on the weekend. Would recommend and would stay here again. Read less
