The room was located at upper floor and it was a mistake avoid it ! The A/C was so noisy that we had to stop it for the night, then it was really cold. In the morning temperature in the room was down to F 50°. Service the room even requested was not longer provided Location is great to visit DC

The day before I noticed and the people at the Hamilton Hotel (Matt and Jerry) fixed the problem without hesitation. We even decided to come a day early...no problem. They took care of us like family. We stayed a long, 4 night weekend in 2 suites and the rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The only thing that was cold was the weather. Everything else was great. The guys at the front door and valet guys could not have been nicer. We loved it and my family (including 2 grandkids) can't wait to return. Read less

My visit to the Hamilton was outstanding. I visited during the Transportation Research Board 2022 Annual Meeting. I appreciated the fact the restaurant was close to the Convention Center and the Metro Blue Line station. My room was small, but very comfortable. I dined at Cafe Sophia and had wine at the bar. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We stayed at the Hamilton in October and loved it, so came back, this time for one night. We brought our sons’s things to him, as well as his birthday and Christmas presents (hadn’t been able to gather due to Covid). We slept very well on our comfy bed in our corner room (great view of the park).
