I love everything about this hotel. We have stayed there several times over the years, but have stayed other places also. Of all the Hilton’s l, this location is my favorite in NYC. Sharon, the hostess in the exec lounge, makes every morning bright. She is so lovely and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back!

Sharon was extremely helpful, kind and friendly every time we saw or needed her. We have very specific dietary needs and Sharon and a few other employees were always accommodating with a smile. Sharon never made us feel like we were a nuisance to her.

It was great to return to the Hilton Midtown to see familiar faces at the front desk and Executive lounge. Sharon was pleasant and welcoming as always. She remembered me as soon as hit the door of the lounge was was impressive since my last visit to the hotel was as in 2019. So happy to be back to my fav Hilton hotel in NYC.

Positives: - the location was just brilliant: easy to walk to Central Park or Times Square, and close to different subway lines - the rooms were spacious and very clean - the breakfast (which was included in our rate) was really excellent! So much choice and freshly cooked - great response from the concierge when I asked for a clean glass in the room - despite being busy and in the centre of NY, the hotel was quiet at night - super easy to get a cab from outside Even better if: - the check in experience was terrible. Not enough people on the desks which meant people were waiting ages and getting very frustrated. Please have more people on the desks, as every time we walked past over 5 days the queues were huge because of this. This also impacted on checkout, but then someone came out to gather keys and room numbers of those checking out. - city tax - we knew we were going to be charged it so that wasn’t an issue, but as we were leaving we heard a member of staff tell a customer that their city tax was a credit on their account and they could lend it every day but it did not carry over. We then noticed this in small writing on our cardboard key wallet, but had not been told this on check in. This needs making consistent so everyone knows and is clear so it is not unfair Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel. Read less
