The hotel

The Anndore House oozes style, soul and sophistication. Dating back to the 1950s, the hotel injected ounces of unique touches to every area within its walls. There’s a barber shop, local artistry, a vinyl record player in every room, and two dining venues. The Constantine Restaurant has a show kitchen, so you can watch the chefs at work cooking up your order, or for a more relaxed setting, head to the Scarlet Door Café. Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff were very helpful at check-in and throughout the visit. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Other reviews complained about the nearby construction noise, but I had no issues with outdoor or hotel noise during my stay. Breakfast had a nice selection of cold and hot items and the coffee was great.

I was very pleased with the hotel and the receptionist at check in was very lovely. Loved the character in the room and the ammenities available. Also really loved there was always someone at the door to greet you and the doors themselves felt strait out of a fairytale. P

Very nice and clean hotel - with friendly staff. The rooms are big and very well equipped. Only complain is that the aircondition makes quite a lot of noise. The location is great downtown Toronto. The area has nice shopping possibilities and restaurants.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had our kitten with us and the staff were very friendly. The room is clean and very comfortable. Very stylish as well.

The room was interesting with proper accommodations for electronic needs of traveling. We very much enjoyed our stay. The turntable was a fascinating addition. There was plenty of space to hang close and the separate shower and sink area was appreciated.
