Let’s be honest, the food is one of the best bits of any cruise. Sure, you’re seeing wonderful new countries, meeting amazing people, and enjoying the holiday of a lifetime, but all of that excitement means you’re going to be burning off the calories like crazy. Virgin Voyages will make sure you never run out of energy, with some of the best dining experiences on the high seas.
There’s none of the usual queues or regulated dining times. You won’t see the traditional cruise buffet, either. With over 20 food choices onboard, you can eat what you want, when you want it. Fancy a fruit smoothie and avocado-on-toast to get your day off to a healthy start? You’ve got it. Throwing caution to the wind with a midnight feast of epic proportions? The Galley’s open 24/7 so your every wish is taken care of. Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or a party with your mates, dressing up, dressing down, or drinks and snacks in the sun, the Lady Ships have got dining on the sea down to a T.
Why is Virgin Voyages onboard dining so good? Because compromise wasn’t a question when they were looking for a head chef. They went right to the top of the food chain and partnered up with Michelin-starred legend Brad Farmerie. His signature dishes are a perfect fusion of freshness, originality, and fabulous flavours.
From steakhouses and Korean BBQ to a cooking lab and an international food market, all eateries are included.
With unique spaces and diverse options, Virgin Voyages have ditched the one-big-dining-hall experience and said goodbye to buffets.
Whether you're craving a slice of pizza, a burger, or a heart diner breakfast - your schedule doesn't stop, and neither does Virgin Voyages
Every eatery has its own kitchen and executive chef - and all food is fresh and made-to-order, never mass produced
Balance is key, so Virgin Voyages offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in every eatery - designed from scratch and always created from the freshest ingredients.
World-class Chefs like Brad Farmerie (of PUBLIC in NYC) and Sohui Kim (of The Good Fork and Insa in NYC) are a couple of the names behind Virgin Voyages incredible menus.
The food is just half of the equation. Onboard the Lady Ships, ambience is just as important as the flavours, so the restaurants are designed to delight all the senses. Style surrounds you, from the tablecloths to the light fittings, the crockery to the curtains. This is all about creating a dining experience, not just serving food. Linger over your linguini, savour your salsa, and feel as if you’re sitting in a chic boutique hotel in Paris or Rome.
One of the most unique offerings onboard, Razzle Dazzle Restaurant is a veggie-forward eatery that delivers a healthy dose of nice with just the right amount of naughty. Sailors can choose from one side that skews towards plant-based vegetarian and vegan dishes including must have munchies such as the Impossible Burger, or the indulgent side – meaty cheats, sweets and gluttonous treats. Sailors can also enjoy healthy smoothies and juices by day and the retox with signature cocktails by night in a lively, bustling environment.
The Test Kitchen is the most unique, innovative, and experimental dining experience on ship. The tasting menu is presented in the form of an ingredient list where Sailors put their trust into our expert chefs to make the decisions. Take your cruise dining experience to a whole new level and learn something at the same time, so you can recreate those memories in your own kitchen back home.
Forget high-street tacos and burritos from a vending machine – this is the real McCoy. Pink Agave is Virgin Voyages Mexican hacienda, where you’ll go on a virtual tour of Mexico City and share the experience with your friends. There’s no ‘shake and bake’ instant Mexican food here, but authentic dishes including tlayudas, memelas, sopes, tortas, esquites, and tamales. Team it up with a signature Agua Fresca cocktail and you’re living la vida loca!
If you're into hands-on meat-grilling and soju drinking, the Korean BBQ is the perfect spot. Sailors have the option to choose from meats, seafood, vegetables, or all of the above when they’re ready to start grilling and the crew will be on hand to help. Virgin Voyages specially designed a flameless grill for the ultimate BBQ experience, which will be the centerpiece of the loudest restaurant at sea.
The perfect mix of sophistication, nostalgia and cool - entering The Wake is an event in itself. As soon as they see the grand staircase, Sailors will feel like they’ve stumbled onto a glitz & glam movie set that is regal by design with raised levels of luxury and exuberance.
Pasta just like mama used to make! Regionally-inspired food and handmade fresh pasta (no packets of dried spaghetti here) and a meal where the wine menu is as important as the food, gives you an authentic Italian dining experience. If you’re new to the joys of Italian wine, try it by the glass at the Coravin, and discover fruity, playful whites and bold, rich reds.
The food and drink make the experience here, with modern takes on fairground classics. But they don’t call it “Social” for nothing - inside you’ll find Sailors playing air hockey, shuffleboard and foosball. Pretzels, potato chips, popcorn, corndogs, hotdogs, cotton candy, candy apples, fudge, kettle corn, frozen bananas and churros are all on offer. Sailors can also grab an adult-by-design shake or float stacked with cookies, cake, frosting and candy.
No pre-cooked pizza slices sitting under warming lamps here. Sailors can choose from the classic menu or design their very own bespoke pizza. Featuring a brilliant beach club inspired design with white and pastel colored furniture, navy striped accent pillows and hammocks for lounging, this casual spot is a perfect lunch time destination or late-night, post drink, hunger buster go-to.
The ice cream shop will send sailors back to that magical, summer nostalgia, just with a Virgin Voyages twist and some complimentary scoops. Including six seasonal home (or ship) made flavours, like the vegan Green Machine or Gianduiotto Chocolate. A daily featured flavour will be announced from our nearby record shop DJ booth - it's guaranteed to be unlike anything you've had at your local ice cream shop!
Inspired by one of the most iconic dishes of the Hawaiian islands, here you'll find marinated tuna, chicken and salmon over greens or rice bowls. Fresh, tasty and healthy, they’re high in lean protein and healthy fats while giving you a sunny dose of veggies or whole grains.
An effortlessly elegant, yet cosy counterpart to the view outside. Sailors raise the flag on their menu when they need service and relax whilst the roaming Mezze cart swings by to take their order. Choose from flame grilled skewers or house-made dips and dippers. The Dock feels like an elegant cabana caught between the chill, seaside perfection of Ibiza and the rustic-chic resorts of Brazil.
At Virgin Voyages, the team pride themselves on delivering a cruise dining experience that’s genuinely memorable. But that’s never done at the expense of the planet, so Virgin Voyages are committed to caring for the oceans by banning single-use plastics onboard (so no plastic straws with those cocktails). The ship doesn’t do buffets, to minimise food waste and keep energy use and emissions down. You won’t see take-away coffee cups, stirrers or plastic bottled water onboard, and guests are encouraged to support Virgin Voyages in their policy of using recyclable and reusable materials whenever and wherever possible.
Filtered still and sparkling water, non-pressed juices, sodas, teas and coffees are inclusive of package costs to keep sailors hydrated at all times.
We know sailors feel the love from our fantastic onboard crew so for peace of mind, all gratuities are built into the cost of your package.
Midnight feast cravings? No problem! 24 hour food delivery service means a sailor never goes on an empty stomach.
Forget bread rolls and buffet sausages. Virgin Voyages restaurants introduce you to a new way of experiencing cruise dining at its best.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
