Love staying in the casitas at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Peaceful gardens and koi pond, walk to restaurants. It is under the departures from the airport but we don’t care about that-it’s beautiful. Casitas a quiet and peaceful, no one running, slamming doors or talking loudly at 1:00am in the hall, surrounded by nature.

Oystercatchers is lovely, but the hotel and service was lacking over the duration of my 7 night stay. Definitely not worth the cost.

had a room overlooking the bay watching sunset. There is a walkway thru the mangroves with a gazebo at water's edge. Look for Florida birds and marsh bunnies. Breakfast gets 5 stars. Rooms quiet with frig and coffeemaker. Pools not heated. Oystercatchers restaurant excellent.
