Florida villa tips

What can you expect from a villa holiday?

Our concierge rep Katy Kor has the inside scoop.

Where to start with villas? They just have so much going for them.

A villa gives you a relaxed, spacious base in Florida — just set up camp and start ticking everything off your holiday wish list. You’ll enjoy home-from-home comforts you won’t find in a hotel, and you may also find your budget goes a bit further.

All of our villas are located in quiet residential areas, close to all the theme parks. We’ve got everything from 3–7 bedroom homes, and each includes a private swimming pool.

Pack light and plan ahead

In Florida you’re never more than 60 miles from the ocean. And with your hire car, you’ve got the freedom to explore the state at your own pace.

That proximity to sun and surf means shorts, flip-flops, and possibly a garish ‘only on holiday’ shirt are a must. But don’t feel you have to pack your wardrobe for the sake of variety. Your villa will have a washing machine, so pack your favourite threads and alternate. 

There are other benefits to villa living, of course. Cots and highchairs can be rented (a blessed relief if you’ve ever wrestled either to a check-in desk). You can also hire barbecues for that all-American al fresco experience.

On your way to the villa, be sure to swing by a supermarket to pick up some essential groceries. Lots of our customers also bring their favourite brands with them - essentials like Marmite (for some) and Hobnobs. You’re staying in a villa, after all, so make yourselves feel properly at home with the things you love. You can ask our concierge team to arrange for a food pack to be ready and waiting.

Start exploring

You’ve settled in. Where next? The theme parks and water parks are calling your name. But you could also make a beeline to the premium outlet malls, or ride a fan boat through the Everglades. Rocket to the Kennedy Space Centre, swim and kayak with manatees at Blue Springs State Park, take a 22-mile woodlands cycle on the West Orange Trail…

Exclusive concierge service

When you’re on holiday you shouldn’t have to think about anything other than having a fabulous time. That’s why one of our local reps will call you before you go as part of our exclusive concierge service. They can give you insider advice, help you plan and book your activities, or simply help with the pre-purchase of one of our grocery packs, barbecue sets or games packs.

Then, once you’ve touched down in Orlando, one of our Resort Representatives will greet you at the airport with the directions to your villa. From there, Florida is your playground - but we’re still standing by for whatever you need.

For extra piece of mind, new bookings made before 31 August 2020 for travel up 30 April 2021 also have the flexibility to amend free of charge. If you need to change don’t worry, you can move your holiday as far out as 31 December 2021 subject to availability.

Payment flexibility


Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. 

You can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. 

If you’re struggling to pay, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

We're flexible with your holiday plans


We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility. 

We'll be in touch by email letting you know how to register to change your holiday plans. You can also log into Manage my booking to find the details there.

We’re sorry to say that it’s taking much longer than usual to process your refund. It’s taking longer than we’d like as well. This is due to the number of requests being sent to us and our teams working from home.

We’re doing our best to help every customer, but we’re not able to always meet the 15, 45 or 90-day timeframes we originally stated for every customer. As always, we’re grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding. It means the world to us.
